Cheers Slava! Great to see you here and hear that you dig it - especially the ending should've been down your alley, when I'm entering the dark/hypnotic side of things 😎
Always a pleasure! Enjoying much (..... and thinking why am I not doing this with the same great gear on my table. I guess I'm still awaiting for that missing bag with talent lost by UPS 🤣). Anyways, just saying digging this with its twists and turns! Also feel like quality of mixing and overall sonority improve constantly (not like it was not there at the first place) 🖤
@@MilesKvndra Great collab! I noticed the feat, and was thinking how bass changes signature and entertains you. It’s subtle (huge in this case), we should be crazy dissecting this (I’m for sure). Though it reminds me sitting for an hour in a car while can get of a parking lot from Depeche Mode show. I was spinning Should Be Higher sound all Q7 speakers way up, windows open. There is so power and synergy in that bass line. I had to research and it was produced by Swiss bassist. Another cool story for a bass fetishist like me 😎 Awesome track and don’t get me started on a clever name 🤣
It has been such a freaking blast to watch you find and thoroughly enjoy a setup. You had a moment around 7:15 where even I did the fist pump and was so into it with you. Great set!
Wow thank you so much James! I really enjoy this setup and am having a fantastic time with it, so many cool functions to explore and still room to make small adjustments in the future. Love it!
My lord what a set! Incredible sounds and that glide on the bass patch for Tiergarten is so damn nice. You are a constant inspiration to me and I truly appreciate the positive vibes and beautiful music you are putting out into the world. I had a question about your transitions. Are those baked into the clips at every 16 bars? I ask because I didn't see you specifically launching any transition clips. Do you have those transitions on their own track and they just get launched with each scene change so you don't have to worry about launching them? Any help with this would be great!
Thank you so much! That makes me really happy to hear, inspiring other fellow creatives is what I love to achieve with my work. 💜 Regarding your question: it really depends on the track - some tracks follow a quite linear arrangement (like Tiergarten) and in order to stick to that (and as I have some other parameters to play around with) I automate the scene changes after a certain amount of bars. Just to have in some tracks a safety net I can rely on. But how I do it really varies and with some tracks I do it completely manually - especially when playing live in front of real people I can just repeat a pattern if I see the energy is still great and I feel like staying another couple of bars on that pattern would keep the energy in the room up. When I played this set live at a festival last weekend, I decided to play the Tiergarten drop double the length because people were really feeling that part and dancing a lot. It‘s great to have that flexibility
@ Thank you for the fantastic comment. I'm currently building up better livesets and this is extremely helpful. Once again, you are badass musician and I truly love your work. If you are ever in the southern USA let me know!
Kick ass, as always. Sandworm is so good! Love those expressive vocal-like sounds at around 45:00. Is that a synth or an actual vocal sample? Cluster is still a favorite too.
a great set, it just gets me through the morning at my desk and energises me, love the sound of the moog. In special: Cluster is a real big energizer!!! looking forward to discover more of your work, i follow now on IG, newsletter & Spotify and just build a playlist withn all the beauty. THX! btw. will there be vinyl records or other stuff coming to your shop like merch?
and whats that in the song Ghoast around minute 48 to 50, the hiHat is running and with the drums coming full back it sound like its halftime... o working against with the ARP above it.. anyhow: great effect..
Thanks a bunch, also for the lovely comment on Instagram! Regarding your question: I delayed the hihats by 1 beat and play the Moog into a doted 8th delay, which gives it that nice shuffle. Really like that effect and glad you dig it too 💜
Will there be a set breakdown? Love to get to know your ableton session! I really enjoyed dancing to your music, took me on a ride and made me feel myself again, thank you
It was just hanging out, this was Sub 25 + Ableton Push 3 (controlling Ableton Live). But I'm bringing it in more and more again in my recent productions!

Sweet to my ears. Thx.

Tiergarten. ❤ Love your sound design and buildup/transitions. You express emotions through your music and I love it.
This is exactly what I want to express - so happy to read that it is translating to other people 💜💜
Very cool Ableton setup, great sounding set!
Dude, You Smashed It! 👌🏼
Great Intro! will listen now to the whole set while cleaning my apartment and dancing
Cheers Slava! Great to see you here and hear that you dig it - especially the ending should've been down your alley, when I'm entering the dark/hypnotic side of things 😎
Frigg! This is EPIC.
Epic set. Really impressive polish for that amount of work composed & performed.
Thank you! Yeah my mastering chain I built in Ableton Live is helping a lot with the polish and make all songs sound cohesive soundwise

Sandworm is a killar!!!! 🖤
It was PHUNN! greatly speed up to the end!
Was the lowest growling bassline on Sandworm made with Sub25 as well?
Super awesome to hear that you enjoyed it! No, the low end on Sandworm was done by my friend Sonnenkind, who has produced this edit

It truly is!

@ thanks for the explanation. This made a great effect, will experiment with it next time I find space for getting to my synth again.

Great set, well performed! Was the Mother in here or just hanging out?
It was just hanging out, this was Sub 25 + Ableton Push 3 (controlling Ableton Live). But I'm bringing it in more and more again in my recent productions!
@@MilesKvndra Oh I'm sure you spend plenty of quality time with your mother! The subs are just a chefs kiss though
:)
