Hi Sean, that was a super insightful lesson. Thanks so much. When you played the mixolydian scale over the chord progression it sounded beautiful to my ears. Would it be possible for you to do a lesson that explains how and why a mixolydian scale works and say how a Lydian or Dorian might work over certain other progressions. I think I’m on the cusp of getting this when you said about flattening the seventh. I’m so excited 😀

That said I want to offer you a bit of encouragement by saying you move the needle. I have been playing a long time and can be musical thorough songs and borrowed inspiration from the guitarists I was influenced by but I also know what's real . Thank you for making your lessons accessible and not full of fluff. You are a fine guitarist and I just wanted to offer compliment that for your generous time and for sharing your knowledge.
Lastly I really like the tone you dialed in. If it's not too much of a journey down the rabbit hole; I would love to hear your opinion of how to dial in a solid and usable tone. Thank you for keeping it real.
