I love that you don't edit out all of the parts that you struggle with words and that you are so open to sharing your experience and progress. You are such an inspiration and I admire the fact that you continue recording and editing TH-cam videos throughout this very difficult time in your life.
You're so right about how cancer changes your perspective. Suddenly, the things that used to seem so stressful doesn't hold as much weight. And your limited energies and time can be focused on what is truly important. My boys both have told me they love learning to drive with me because I laugh when they make a mistake whereas their dad, my hubs of 23 years, reacts in a very typical way. And there's nothing wrong with that. But I still deal with the collateral damage from my 14 surgeries and aggressive chemos that began 6 years ago when I was 36. I'm now cancer free! But the collateral damage left in its wake is brutal. You are amazing! Your willingness to share so openly and reveal your daily struggles is admirable. You're a very special young woman. And I know you're going to allow this experience to grow you so you can encourage others...you're already doing it! Thank you!
It literally took you saying "don't sweat the small stuff" over and over and over again for it to actually click in my head. Although I knew the whole time what you were trying to say, the meaning of the phrase didn't hit me until you got it right. It actually effected my mentality. I have had anxiety about the smallest of things, and I've been that way for a long time. Your videos, and just the simple things you are trying to say have helped me so much. Life is precious. You are precious, and a beautiful inspiration. Thank you for these videos. You help people more than you realize. One day you're going to look back at this experience and know that it was all for a purpose. Maybe to help you in some way, but for sure to help thousands of people! 💜
My mother passed away in March from cancer that had spread to her brain. And her speech was EXACTLY like this. And it brought me a strange sense of comfort to watch this. Remembering my last few months with her. You're absolutely adorable. And I hope everything is getting better every day now. I've watched so many of your videos now. And my mother always said she felt "stupid" about her speech too. You aren't stupid at all. Everyone knows what you're going through. And they are all MORE than understanding ♡ Xoxoxo!!!
I'm in nursing school and your entire journey from before symptoms, to surgery, to now, you're really showing how amazing the human body AND spirit is. Your attitude and progress is astonishing and inspiring!!
Once again, I have to say that I want to meet your mother. I know where your strength comes from. She must have needed hers this year. I am a teacher and a cancer survivor with a daughter with a rare autoimmune disease. I have admiration for you BOTH. For your whole family, actually.
I have been/am going through a medical situation myself and it hasn't gone as expected. But, by watching your videos, your courage puts me back into perspective. You rock!!
Thank you for being such a great inspiration to others. My husband has Stage 4 Metastatic Kidney Brain and Lung cancer. He had tumor removed from brain and had to have total Right Nefrectomy and a partial left Nefrectomy. Healing and relearning and reteaching your body is hard. Taking Chemo on a daily basis is hard. So thank you for sharing!!
Would love you to do a video with your mum, mainly about her side of the whole brain tumor and cancer side! I'm currently looking after my husband who has terminal cancer so would be nice to hear things from another 'carer'! X
Will you be returning to teaching? I haven't seen this addressed in any of your videos or Q&As and I've been curious about it for a while. Love to watch. You are so positive.
I think your ability to laugh at yourself at times and the way you celebrate your small achievements is what has gotten you so far with such a positive attitude. You are so commendable and a great example
I just want to take a second and give HUGE kudos to your mom. Between taking care of her daughter AND her husband. Stay strong Momma Court... You are amazing! And a super hero! 😘
At a point in time where there are so many people on TH-cam and social media- I am so glad I came across you. You have kept a positive and determined attitude throughout your hardship, and it really proves what kind of person you are. We don't know how strong we are until being strong is the only choice we have- and boy, have you showed this illness who's boss. When I heard you say, "Don't sweat the small stuff," I smiled, because that's a saying my boyfriend and I say all the time and it's such an awesome outlook to have. You are an incredible role model for your viewers and also your students. Keep rocking this life girlfriend, because the world is yours! 💗🌏
I freaking love you. When you laugh at yourself and don't get frustrated, it's inspirational. Your smile is infectious and I find myself laughing along with you. It's amazing how far you've come since your surgery.
I love that you keep the "mess ups" in your videos. Cause now we can actually see your speech improving instead of us not knowing if you were to take them out. Your so strong..I'm pulling some inspiration from you and I hope you are doing well! Your mother seems so loving and supportive, thanks mom!
I'm so happy that your recovery is going well ! who's taking care of your mom while she takes care of you and your dad ? I hope she's got a good support system and makes time for herself
You are an inspiration! My 13 yo old son was diagnosed in the last month with a chordoma tumor on his spine/neck. He had surgery on July 31st to remove the tumor and will have proton radiation at the end of September. I told him about your radiation video to help explain it to him. You are amazing and have got this!
I love that you don't edit out the struggles! I enjoy your videos and always love to watch. You are beautiful inside and out and are such an inspiration! ❤️
When you get sick and look death in the eyes... You get NEW EYES! It's amazing how you see life! Everything is more beautiful and precious. You're so amazing! I'm seeing you and your "new eyes" on life and that's wonderful! Like I tell everyone, live like you're dying. Life is a precious gift! Love you, baby girl!! You're doing amazing! The kids and I are still praying hard for you!!
I freakin love you Courtney. EVERYTHINGS FINE, EVERYTHINGS FINE! 🌸🌷💚 your strength is amazing. You are awesome. I love your advice. 100% do not sweat the small things. ♥️🌺
I've been learning so much from you. You are working so hard filming and sharing, even through all this. I went out and bought BB cream and am trying a little harder. Even though I have a chronic illness, and it's easier to give up, I was "hey, why not do what I like doing?" I can't paint like I used to with the hands not doing well, but I figured out a way to paint anyway. I just had a bad night, and followed your story while watching youtube at night. Thank you. Life is much better. Watching you, and your bravery is in my bag of things that helps me deal with my illness!
As a nursing student i find these videos so helpful. To see what happens when we send people home.. to understand that the process is long and difficult and watch things from your perspective. I hope that makes sense. I have so much more understanding and compassion. Thank you for letting us see into your world. It really is helpful to so many people.
You're such a beautiful person! I work in cancer research and I came across your page while watching makeup tutorials and I am in awe at how graceful and positive you are! I'm praying things continue to go up for you. You're speech is fabulous! I can't wait to see more videos from you! :)
I love watching your progress! Every video you upload I can tell so much improvement! My daughter and I are addicted to your video's and are praying for you!
Ive never met you or your mom but I think your mom is amazing. I love following your journey and seeing your strength and hearing about your moms patience puts a lot of what you are going through into perspective.
Every video you're speech is becoming stronger. I only began watching you about a week ago and I love you so much! Your makeup inspires me and I don't even wear it but it's great
i absolutely love your videos! i was diagnosed with Lupus Cerebritis (inflammation of the brain) in May, and although i haven't had to go through surgery or radiation i understand some of the struggles your going through. i have so many vision problems and my hair is slowly coming out through chemo. going from an active to person to someone who struggles to do to basic things is the absolute worst. i'm so happy i found your channel when i did. i often feel so alone in my sickness, so it's refreshing to see someone my age be able to have happiness and positivity through though times (even if you have to put on a happy face for your videos) you really inspire me! stay gorgeous and continue to get better 💝 ps: i'm so happy about your brain MRI improvements, i have one coming up and i'm hoping for results like yours!
it makes me soo happy that you can laugh at yourself when you mess up.. im sure it could be very frustrating having to relearn your speech, but you are soo strong and making the best out of your situation
Thanks for sharing , you have no idea how much strength you have given other people who may be struggling with either a similar problem or just having a hard time dealing. Your courage shines through !!
I found your channel after my own brain surgery this year. I had surgery in February, they were not able to remove the whole tumor but it is benign! Thank you for sharing your struggle 💙
You are beautiful, kind and so funny! Despite what you have been through-it has been amazing to see your positive attitude. So full of hope and joy! Love you and praying for you! ~Nellie Baldwin
I never ever comment on youtube videos. But I gotta say, you are honestly amazing. Seriously, you have a better outlook on life than most very fortunate people. God bless you, it's so great to see and very inspiring :) I hope your continued recovery goes smoothly!
Hahah you had me laughing so hard with the EVERYTHINGS FINE thing! You're doing amazing!!!! I'm really glad that you have a new more carefree outlook on life! That's such a blessing. Many people spend their whole life stressing out about every small thing. You're an inspiration.

I know cancer sucks and its super scary having chemo and operations but watching you during you're experience made it seem a whole lot less scary... it's not the end of the world and for you at least you came through and are doing all the things you love again! Inspirational courage 💜💜
I'm so happy that your speech has improved so much and I think your so amazing because you just laugh it off when you make any mistakes and you don't edit them out of your video! Your so unbelievably strong! x
