You've improved so much! My husband had surgery for an aneurysm and it severely impacted his short term memory. He would get up to get a soda from the fridge and end up standing in the den because he forgot what he was going to do. He also lost some vision out of one eye. The brain is absolutely miraculous in how over time it compensates. His memory has improved that only I would notice the faults and his other eye has compensated so he doesn't have a very large blind spot from vision loss. Prayers for you for physical healing and emotional healing as you walk this path.
adgttu my mum had a brain aneurysm 2 years ago at 38yrs. They said she was going to die at 1st and then for a year she was completely unresponsive and in a coma state and we were told she had lost absolutely everything (she was even on a breathing tube). She's still in a bad state but now she can understand us and laugh, breathe by herself, semi communicate through pointing at things and last week after helping her with exercise for a while she was able to lift one leg numerous times. She's still got a long while to go but it's miraculous how far she's come. 😊

I don't usually comment on videos but I was in the brain surgery boat last year and wanted to say I'm amazed by your bravery!! My tumour was benign but the surgery still affected my speech and memory a bit so seeing you have the guts to post this and keep smiling even when you say things wrong really is inspiring!! Also it's so good to see someone my own age being open about this sort of thing because it's so easy to feel like the only young person going through this when in hospital it's all old people! Keep on going girl, you're one strong lady 💪

Thank you for sharing. You amaze me and your strength is admirable! I lost my uncle recently on June 22nd 2017 to a glioma that he had on the temporal side of his brain. He passed almost 3 months after being diagnosed when the tumor was found. He did the surgery which they were able to remove 95% of the tumor. But he was told his type was incurable, so he refused chemo and radiation treatments. I visited him weekly and would stay for 3-4 day stretches. I’ve seen first hand how trying your journey has been. Finding it hard to remember names, or how to pronounce words like flashlight or shorts. I watched him lose hope and feel shame for forgetting how to do day to day things. As much as we encouraged, the oncologists words that his was incurable, got the best of him. I only wish I found this sooner and was able to share your strength with him. He just gave up. So you keep doing what you’re doing! You’re an angel and an inspiration to so many! Those going through the same type of battle and for the families that know or see a loved one struggle. Sharing this is more powerful then you may even know! I don’t even know you personally, but I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! God bless you Courtney. Keep it up girl, you’re doing amazing! ❤️

Making these bloopers will show you how far you have come since your surgery and you honestly have! Your showing those words whose boss and your letting nothing get in the way of your recovery and having fun along the way!! Your such an inspiration to everyone, especially those who will or who already have gone through this! Well done 😊
My favorite is when you write the word in the air! I seriously do that! I do this a lot, I am dyslexic, I do it to figure out if it’s a b(B) or a d(D). You’re amazing!

I just ran across your channel today and learned of your brain tumor surgery and recovery. My goodness, you have been through so much in the last few years!! You are such a beautiful and brave young woman, and as one cancer survivor to another (I also had a brain tumor diagnosed and removed in 2000), you've got this girl!
I have been cancer-free for 20 years, and you will be too. 😀 Keep the positive thoughts and vibes going just like you are doing now, and you'll have a long and healthy lifetime of fun still ahead of you!

In your videos you can tell you struggle with words from time to time, but this video really shows how much you struggled and how much we don't see. But it's good to see you and your mom laugh it off. And to see how much your family is helping you and supporting you. You are a strong person and a huge inspiration and I'm glad you chose to share your journey with us.

Courtney, keep being yourself, be brave ! My husband has issues with his speech and loss of his hair too. He has a grade 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma and battles some of the same things as you. You have a great attitude and that will help you as you recover. You Go Girl !!!!!!!!!
