      The de-consumerism of Russia during sanctions July 2022 :
      1) th-cam.com/video/KyMJ3u1qC-U/w-d-xo.html
      2) th-cam.com/video/6Whr9i43tI8/w-d-xo.html unlike the chief manager of the global sanctions policy: th-cam.com/video/YB6gwOBClwE/w-d-xo.html Alas! You live in a world of illusions, alas, it is obvious that the Russians don't care about sanctions.

    Even if most shops are still open, it is slowly declining. You lose the big shops like IKEA that attract people. In addition most people are tightenig their budget right now in these uncertain times. This leads to less traffic in the mall. This leads to shops closing, which leads to even less traffic and even more shops closing.

      That's the point. I suppose it's working some what but it's going to take a long time for that to actual effect the function of this government because they could obviously care less about their average citizens. Remind you of any other countries? EDIT : In my opinion it just makes the Russian citizens hate the USA. so far it not harming the government. I suppose we shouldn't care because these people are not standing up strongly against this war and there is certainly a good reason for that. They live in a country that is still just not right towards it's citizens and people rights. On paper, Russia is a federal democratic state. In practice, however, many regard it as a dictatorship built around one man, President Vladimir ... Because it is.

      your family will suffer a slow lingering death when you start receiving the gas bills from next winter, which, according to BBC and SKY predictions that everybody has seen, will be 1,500 euros / MONTH.. Good luck kid.... LOL. Russians pay 10 - 20 euro / month gas bills in winter, with their houses at 27 degrees.

      Wet dreams by those who still believe that Italy has bigger economy than Russia. Energy prices in EU is just the beggining. No more dirt cheap gas and oil for you which was the basis of European prosperity for many decades.

    Malls will fall sooner or later anyway with the e-commerce expansion. Less and less people are willing to visit malls as they can buy the same stuff cheaper via interned with delivery to you doorstep.

    • @musicloverlondon6070
      @musicloverlondon6070 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      E-commerce definitely has an impact but there are times where you need to actually check the goods directly. On-line images can be misleading and give you limited information. Furniture, clothes, white goods, etc. are things that many people would prefer to check directly I suspect.
      Perhaps malls will be more adapted for specific products in future but if people visit them in any large numbers, then peripheral products that sell successfully on-line might also like to keep a mall outlet open so people can view some of their on-line goods directly and get a clearer idea of quality, etc.

    • @igory3789
      @igory3789 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@musicloverlondon6070 Agree, it is unlikely that malls totally disappear, but the number will be reduced and focus shifted toward entertainment, shopping will be a side dish.
