The writer also revealed that Ekko also tried talking to Powder after Vi disappeared but she said that Powder is already dead and slapped him. This is why I don't think it was too quick that Caitlyn turned on her. Caitlyn saw through her, even back at the ceremony, her hesitation hinted that. The blade cut both ways, as she said. Go back and look at the scene and her eyes, you can see the regret and surprise sadness that Vi would still care to call her that after how they left things. And this ain’t live action you can’t tell me it ain’t intentional. Animators spent hours with each little movement just so we can get a bigger picture.
