I have searched everywhere to get a functional wallet since mine did not hold up well, this video helped me a lot! Do you have any more recommendations?
The tracker is not a gps tracker. its only Bluetooth. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and once you are out range it will show last location where the disconnect took place. If someone moves it from that location then its lost. It does not track like an Airpod. I left mine in my car and went in to work. My son came and took the car for service. A couple of hours later I was looking for my wallet and the app just showed that was where I parked my car. When it should have shown that its at the service center. I tried to ring it, but it cannot connect because its out bluetooth range. Its only good if you leave your wallet at home.
I've had one for about a month. The slimmed down look is what appealed to me. It's really a nice wallet. The only negative I can think of is that I'm used to carrying a much bigger wallet that I'm always aware of because I could feel it against my thigh at all time. With this slimmer wallet I'm barely aware it's in my pocket and I'm constantly patting my leg to make sure it's still there.
My main concern: Only has a 1-year guarantee. If that spring ejection mechanism breaks in a year or two, how would you get the card(s) out? Weak guarantee, especially at this price point.
I agree, I still use my roots wallet, though most of the time I just carry around its insert that holds about 7 cards comfortably my loyalty cards go in there too, but for many big companies loyalty cards are also digital now a days, so 7 is more than enough, I only bring the whole wallet if I need to have my social insurance number, or other additional IDs when I need more than just my driver's license. And I have had the wallet for almost 14 years, still working and looking just fine, I feel like maybe I will die with it lol. I imagine this type of fancy wallet can break in matter of a couple years, as I see in many reviews, which makes more trash and cost more of earth's resources to make more.

The ekster wallet lasted me a week before the trigger mechanism broke. Only had 4 cards in there, two amex credit cards, a debit and my drivers license.
I just bought the ridge. Think I’m going to get this one. The ridge unless the card you want to use is on top of the wallet it’s an inconvenience to pull all your cards out and sort through them
Can you put a tracker card in a car, in a huge parking space with tons of cars, so that you can easily track it down when you come out and search your car via gps?
They false advertising to get people to buy but not worth the trouble. Since in order connect you need bluetooth. Many people uses bluetooth now and days. (Mainly headphones) My uncle was at a restaurant with his kids. They still under the age of 10 but anyways and my uncle happen to lost his his wallet (the wallet the guy reviewing) and he happen to be on ig live to with one his friends and his kids still to young to know what bluetooth is. So my uncle tried to track it and I guess other people on that location or near that location happen to realize he was on ig live to and said something about along the line about loosing his wallet and bluetooth. So someone spoof there number to his and purposely turn on there bluetooth to hope they hear the beep and beat him to it and they did and murdered him. They downloaded the app. Esktar need more security on there app. Where as to many are able to run app turn bluetooth on to track your lost things.
I was ready to buy one of these... But considering how many reviews there are on Amazon of the button failing, yet a suspiciously high average score, I'm gonna pass.

There's a Pakistani version of this for ~34 USD, that I got today. It's a bit not worth the price IMO. But I'm keeping it anyway because returning it would be too anticlimactic. The Pakistani one is called Villantto. It's not as good as Ekster but fairly similar to it.

My Eckster Carbon Fiber Cardholder did break. Dropped it while taking out of my pocket (first time ever dropping it) and the mechanism that engages the cards to push up broke.
