Thanks Jay and SGCM for this review. Can I suggest that for EV there is a NVH sound test for the cabin because the lack of engine sounds accentuates the quality (or lack thereof) of soundproofing in the car. My complain driving the tesla is that the road noise is significant so would be nice to get some comparison going.
You gonna get a lot likes, and you gonna get a lot of followers, kind of good and you gonna be glad, with all the Kia little bit of really really nice…
there is a slight problem with the specs. the gt-line makes 321 bhp and does 0-100 in around 5.2 seconds not 3.3 seconds, that is for the range topping gt which we dont get in sg and the gt makes about 580 bhp. just saying...
No way this is a value for money. Definitely waiting for the Ioniq 5. Only issue is that they are trying to make Ioniq a Made-In-SG car thus delaying it. Hopping next year will push it out.
Any idea whats the pricing for the lower trim? I know u guys like to review the top specs for most cars, but for most consumers out there, not everyone wants to pay $5k a yr road tax for this.
Ioniq 6 is on the way - a greater competitor, the looks is like Porsche Panamera with a 800 volts charging architecture. On a DC fast charger (350 kW) Hyundai says that the Ioniq 6 can go from 10% to 80% charged in just 18 minutes.
Finally the video published before 5pm

Correction: at 1:30 the 0-100km/h timing for the EV6 GT Line is 5.2 seconds, not 3.3 seconds.
The acceleration is never 3.3s. That may be possible with the GT Version with 585hp, but the 326hp versin should be around 5s
Hi Urs, you're right, the 0-100km/h acceleration is 5.2 seconds instead of 3.3 mentioned in the video.

Nice video. Will you guys be able to provide price of road tax for the cars you guys review?
Hi Dhevan, thanks for the suggestion, we'll consider it!

If only the COE price drop 😢 the car would be an ideal one, good design, good power, anyway how long will it take to charge the car full battery?
Depends on where and type of the charge port.. EV6 has high speed charging.
I Could agree that the cockpit is similar to mercedes a200 sedan and Half of the part is same of Bmw interior design

The EV6 single motor is currently S$253,999, but subject to change after today's COE bidding.

@@sgcarmartreviews thanks.....wow, that's more exp than my model 3
Yea definitely no one wants to pay 5k/month road tax lol.
$5k a month? or a year?
a month means $60k in a year???
@@domq1543 thanks, edited
will it be made in SG?
this is KIA not Hyundai
EV6s sold in Singapore are built and assembled in Korea.

Does it come with unlimited kimchi for $285k?
Still waiting for Kia Niro full review
nice car but bloody nightmare price-tag
After having your fun, u spend 8hrs charging it… n if u quick charge, u need to chg batt after a couple of years or batt spoil like iphone… 😂
0-100km in 3.3s? For this?
Hi Yash, the 0-100km/h acceleration is 5.2 seconds instead of 3.3 mentioned in the video, we apologise for the mix up.

KIA $284,000? BMW how?
Lithium battery?
How to put out lithium’s battery fire?
Safety first
Why not Tesla model y at this price 😢
Ride quality of model y is a bit harsh but I think polestar 2 is better
@@mohamedsamir1285 Normal spec model Y is actually very comfy
@@mizaru84 oh okay cause I watched all the reviews they said suspension was rough I guess gotta try out myself
The Tesla Model Y would be quite a different appeal, especially to those who are used to the creature comforts of a "regular" car, my 2 cents.

@@mohamedsamir1285 Gotta stick with the 19inch instead of 20inch,. 19inch is pretty smooth. Yup go test drive, gotta have to feel it urself
280K for a KIA EV, that's ridiculous. BYD better. Waiting for Hyundai plant to be set up in SG to get Ioniq 5 made in SG

@@angxiang3186 Hope that will be produced locally in SG as well

I don’t think so - it is an advance/premium model; mostly likely would be Kona. More generalist transport carrier.
Make in Singapore, think the qc will be worst than korea. N the price wont be low due to pap taxation ah.

It is already planned n set in motion, Singapore is to manufacture Hyundai EVs.
No wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto at this price?!!! Too over-priced
Not worth it for such pricing
Not even a heads up display for $280k excluding COE. Hard pass.
It is not just a high price tag, it is super over-priced for something that is covered with plastic.... :(
I think ioniq 5 would be better choice with higher quality materials
Lol quarter million for an ev....so much for going green
Thank our PAP transport minister for failing to reduce the COE for EV.. 100k ++ for EV.. what a shame for promoting going Green.
$280K ++... fuyohhhhhhhhhh
