    Just found your channel, great information....setting up a 1/32 track but the principles you teach can be applied. Love the HO cars as well now! Might have to set a small track up! Thanks for posting the series🇦🇺👍😎🏁

    Wish I seen this before I tore up the only one I have! Great info. Got a new 10amp 30 volt power supply. Cars run cooler and cleaner wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it. 300 laps and still going on one set of shoes! Love it. I have an older power supply 24volt 100 amp if u know any one interested. FYI unused

    You should shim you magnets (simply put tape on the backside to shim the magnet closer to the arm), this gives more rpm and torque, and they dont fall out during maintenance, win win.

    This is Matt from the Facebook pages. Total newbie question because I don't use a Multimeter much really at all what do you set the meter on? I'm running just a standard wall wart the Tomy kind the non switchable unit. Disregard I was only about halfway through when I asked my question LOL

    Question: On an old armature remove the wrapped wiring then run a small wire from each of three 3 armature legs. would this be to fast or would it just burn up

    • @vitoman50
      @vitoman50  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Never wound a arm, think you would have to run a more than one wrapping of wire.

    Hey I just find your channel and maybe you can help with a question about another H0 brand (auto world 4 gear) It has a plastic guide pin, but the cars when they crash at a corner the pin will bend or break quickly. Do you know if I can use metal guide pin from another brand slot car? I cannot find guide pins that are metal and specifically for auto world 4 gear chassis. Or do I have to do some DIY?

    I can't get proper voltage reading on the track like you 1st show.
    I have the tri power packs to each lane but no matter what setting it's on it dosen't match the set voltage and fluctuations are crazy.

    Hi Keven, you got me back into the hobby! But you didn't record the most difficult part of reassembling the motor at 11:20, how to put in the armature back without moving the brushes out of place. That is the toughest part I have found, and it takes me quite a few tries to get it right. Is there any help you can give about that?

    • @vitoman50
      @vitoman50  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hold the magnets down with your finger tips and be careful not to move the brushes.
