Yeah. The CinemaSins format falls flat when used on straight-up comedies. It ends up just being old man-Jeremy yelling at clouds and trying to do comedy on comedy. Kind of like those terrible spoof movies from the aughts, that were just spoofing other comedies.

I enjoy a good cinemasin from time to time - even on some of my favorite movies. But man, does this format not work on comedies. What doesn't help either is that Step Brothers is certified GOATed

I saw The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. It was really good and underrated. Adam Scott’s character was less antagonistic than his character in this movie.

My wife and I watched it one night and were incredibly impressed by it. I think the trailers didn't do a good job of selling it.

Why would you call these sins? They're intentional jokes. A sin is something you don't want to be replicated. There's plenty of great comedy moments that should happen again, and again, and again. More StepBrothers!!!!!
I once went to work with a black eye and a giant cut on my face without knowing it. Granted, I was hungover, but I was just as surprised as my secretary.

This movie is one of the best comedies aside from anchorman. So quotable and great script. Thats how you know you’ve made a good movie!

What's funny is Jeremy admitted in an older video that their comedy sin videos aren't good because it turns into a whole lot of "I don't find this funny." People defending them will keep saying it's supposed to be satire, but repeatedly saying "I didn't laugh at this" is lame satire. And the channel has admitted as much themselves. Yet they keep doing videos like that because they're basically just selling out as hard as the people they criticize at this point. They have some older videos that actually were pretty funny, but it's been a while.
This movie was Judd Apatow's bright idea to have Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly adlib on camera for an hour and a half based on a premise.
And it was great

And it was perfect. Don't be the type of person that takes these videos seriously and then change your opinion on movies becaise of these padded not real sins, hit or miss videos. I watch them for entertainment. I watched them when they were older when the sins were plot holes, continuity, and logic problems. Real sins. Now they just pad videos with dumb sins. Sometimes funny sometimes not. It's just entertainment. They take themselves seriously most of the time but it's a joke even if they don't think so

There’s just somthing special about seeing Ricky Bobby and Wreck-It Ralph being manchildren to one-another, one of my favorite comedies out there.

It actually is. I love the movie, I find it hilarious even after multiple viewings, but the cut scene of randy having a heart attack has me in literal tears, it's funnier than anything in the movie itself.
Somehow I'm ok with Jeremy and/or the writer calling me a dummy for liking this movie. Maybe because I know an alternative is being just as joyless and condescending as them...
No one takes these seriously. I watch them just for fun. Long ago he had legit sins. Plot holes, logic problems, continuity. Now he pads videos tries to be funny and makes pointless sins. Anyone who takes these seriously even if CS does sometimes is just ignorant. There are people who like a movie less after watching these. So dumb
This movie, Tropic Thunder and Get him to the Greek are probably my top 3 comedies.

I was hoping this was just a commentary of random scenes and the only film ever to receive 0 sins because… Step Brothers.
12:08 I remember being a single person with a Costco membership lol. I used to be a delivery driver, and the Costco gas station across the highway from where I lived at the time was usually cheaper than anywhere else in the city. The only times I really ever went inside the store was to get a hot dog at the food court.

That mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise is actually Brennan's "fancy sauce" that he likes to dip his chicken nuggets into. There's a scene in the unrated version where Dale wants to try it, but he changes his mind right after he smells it. LOL.
