On MAC the only option is Core. I can't even say "nice try" folks. AI fails again.
Can't get the useless crap to work, so switching to free software that works much better :(
This worked great. For my system I had to increase the Stereo Mix alot more than 50 as well as increase the PC volume to get the levels up in Audition. This comes in handy if you want to practice DJing and want to record your creations mixing music only using no mic. It also works well to record whatever audio you are playing in your browser.
I'm glad to hear that the video worked out well for you. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. Enjoy exploring the platform! 🙂🙂
It wasn't working for me when using headphones, switched to laptop speakers to get sound recording. I have Audition Build 24.2.0.83.
Hi there, 'Stereo Mix' isn't there as an option for me when I choose to 'Show Disabled Devices' at 1:25
You've to enable 'Stereo Mix' from the list.
@@HowToN But that's what I'm saying. It's doesn't appear in the list.
@@ChrisJGape Yeah, same here. It's not even in the list as an option.
@@KeyLimeBreeze Just in case it helps, I gave up on this route. If, like me, you just want to sample audio played through your computer then one method that works for me is to use OBS (free). I essentially record my screen then convert the video into an AIFF or a WAV using Adobe Media Encoder. Hope that might help?
@@private8718 yeah, I have a tech Smith account and did the same thing. Used sangit to screen capture then pulled the MP4 into audition to convert it to MP3 for my video project
