I feel you body, however think about this.
The “from top spotlights” are the best kind of ligths for popping dance, but this lights are the worse to he filmed in high resolution.
Record in a full colored scene its easy, but do it in a dark room…
我個人覺得hoan自從kod10之後就一直存在著一種對hozin的心魔 ， kod10的時候也不能說不存在，只是那時候的hoan很明顯是處於非常年輕，天不怕地不怕的狀態，一般舞者都只能維持這種狀態一到兩年，接下來就要用心態去做長久控制。
很多人的技術含量很高，但心態强度不穩定，就注定無法在popping battle這種吃心流的比賽中長久。
而kod之後一直到現在,Hoan基本上有非常穩定的外戰强度，我覺得這是世界賽角度來看非常珍貴的一個特性。
其他場合嘛8成的時間也是碾壓姿態，而Hoan又是屬於自信跟狀態完全成倍比的舞者，所以就造就了他在人類popping歷史上畫下了多次的經典，但也造就了當他稍微有點心理動搖的時候會非常明顯，影響也會很大的弱點（除了hozin以外,日本那場對上greenteck以及幾場經典的gucchon戰也是心態爆炸）
每當hoan心理沒有餘裕的時候，他就會明顯發生1移動範圍減少、2急於展現肉體條件（這麽乾净又這麽大的連震我覺得全世界只有他有）以及3鬼打墻（例如影片中2:15-2:19這套，hoan只要出這動作，我一般就覺得他這場或者該系列賽要輸了。) ，感覺在音樂性上面失去了信心，想單純的用技術點來壓制場面，僵硬的下半身，重複的老動作，過人的音樂記憶力在這時候反而讓他看起來像是被音樂綁架了。
而hozin壓制hoan這一點也不只是hoan本身的心魔，hozin的心態加成也是特別猛的,在我看來hozin在韓國内戰中都是天神下凡的姿態，外戰也強但是不完美，畢竟越南那一年被greenteck碾到爆炸還是一個小小的污點。
以上就是作爲一個每天看比賽看了二十年的愛好者的閑聊而已，各位若有觀點不同別太認真，我是超級hoan粉，在我個人觀點裏面他之於popping這門技術是人類的巔峰，不論是技術點還是美感都是，但battle就是一種跟心魔對抗的過程，也正是因爲如此它才如此迷人。 而這些前十大的舞者，都已經用神奇的的水準表現出“人類之美”了。
Hoan今年的狀態已經是鬼到跌破我眼鏡了，我超愛他，他在我心中代表了我的青春，但我原先真的以爲他會一路開始下滑，沒想到他不只走出了網暴風波，還用更强大的技術讓白癡噴子們閉嘴，這是多健康又强大的意志力，付出了多少的汗水跟努力啊，兩個月前的看著FTF#15的時候，想到這我真的流淚了。 給了我很多的能量去面對自己生活的不順遂，我很感謝他，好希望能再次有機會飛去現場爲他加油。
説到這裏，心態最强的應該要算是greenteck，他真的是什麽情況都沒在屌的。
我Hozin粉哈哈，覺得Hoan每年都會多一些新招，但系統比較固定然後少整體律動感；Hozin則是大概3年就會換一套新系統(早期直角動作多，後來變全身局部拆解，現在是局部碎拍，大概是這種感覺)。
歐美我覺得最強的是Slim Boogie，舞感跟爆發力都很猛～(popping跳起來大概就是那個”樣子”，但他可以跳脫這種感覺)
@@king50113 我個人認為hozin已經神到超脫了popping範圍了，這裡沒有他想繼續挑戰的東西的感覺，他一直在深入其他舞風(事實上我覺得有些裁判不吃這套，例如nelson） 並且盡可能的跟popping的取分點做結合。
而hoan的律動其實是非常強且獨具一格的，這點可以看前陣子的feelthefunk15，但問題就是他對上hozin就表現不出來。
slim的問題是他非常隨心所欲，沒有要理會裁判算分點的問題，也就是battle上不吃香，但我覺得他實際上可以說是一個藝術家。

@@kai_b2w 為了避免中風我就沒太深入去吸收，但大綱就是韓國的舞蹈選秀節目裡面的網紅講錯了一些舞蹈術語，hoan公開糾正之後就被腦粉炎上，甚至把hoan很久以前自己也錯用名詞的片段拿出來靠北這樣。

Hozin looked very very sharp, especially in the second round.
I think Hoan is currently better at showcasing his moves to the public( he makes a better use of space), at managing their attention (not going all out all the time) and doing poses that people will remember. He also has a consistent outfit that sets the tone, all of that contributes to building his brand. Additionally, the new improved Hoan manages to understand and incorporate the themes/moods of the songs. This really set him apart in competitions (watch his FeelTheFunk 2022 performances).
I think the world needs a Hoan/Hozin duo. They'd win every single popping competition out there, that's just how refined their raw talent is.
I do think both dancers are being bottle-necked by these old school popping beats though. The sound landscape is still not rich enough for them to express their talents to the fullest.
Give them next-level stuff like "Vitality" by Flume (with slight adaptation for battles) and watch them come up with even more jaw-dropping performances.

Green and Slim would win every Popping competition out there.
Just watch how France spanked Korea at the recent KOD. Hoan has updated his style but a lot of the world is now catching up, Hozins always been a solid Popper and the best dancing Popper out of Korea.

1. Hoan hasn't simply "updated" his style
2. it will take some serious studying for others to catch up.
He is pushing popping into novel regions. Not in terms of explosiveness or flashiness but in terms of coherence in his choices. One of the issues I have with popping is how many mid-performance "resets" there are. Think of it as uttering a sentence on a subject(sequence of coherent moves), then saying "Next sentence!" (using a very generic move with no ties to the rest) and subsequently shifting to a totally different subject. That's ok, but that's too easy. We can do better.
Hoan is breaking this long held "tradition" of popping and ushering in a style in which every move or sequence of moves explains or causes the next one, even if it means conjuring up links in the beat that aren't actually there. You can really see it in full flow in his Instagram workshop videos.
Hip hop dancers like Waydi, Laurent or Larry do that. As an example, you can watch Larry's recent performance to "Hima Corp X Jude2k - Guerilla" in which he shoots a virtual rocket at his opponent over a 30 seconds sequence of fast-paced moves. But in popping it's harder to find, because it's such a "pose-oriented" style.

i disagree on the bottlenecking due to music(potential creative expression etc..)
i think the music choice had great foundation to display a variety of tempo,momentum,flow nuances etc..& they danced beautifully
this is an expression of the foundations of the popping artform--if you want to look for boundaries being challenged and pushed then i wouldnt be expecting it out of showcase

i'm not agree with you, Hoan do that he knows to do, less style than before. It's weird, in demonstration, Hoan is a Monster of style accorded with music, use his technic for emotion step; and in battle he dances to do scream the crowd just with moves seen and reviewed.

호진은 뭔가 단순 비트에 팝을 때려박고 박자를 맞추는 느낌이아니라 음악과 교감하고있다는 느낌이 확남 ;;
팝핀을 떠나서 춤 자체를 예술로 만들어버림 비트의 질감까지 세세한거 하나하나 싹다 표현해냄

其實kod10 hoan也沒贏多少甚至還有失誤但裁判還是判她贏 我覺得舞蹈上hozin還是強一點 他聽音樂真的很猛 我也很喜歡hoan但感覺還是有差距
覺得hozin比較強於各種細碎拍的連接,剛好很適合這幾首,hoan感覺就擅長瞬間爆發的卡點,但兩個都世界級的都很猛
