No one seems to mention how you get access to the "Buy & Sell" menu for Scurlock. I guess they had already met the requirements before they talked to him. So, I spent a fair chunk of silver and time to find out what the requirements are. Fast travelling back to Scurlock after each mission I did. First off you absolutely need to have completed Scurlock's main quest line AND you need to be Kingpin 1 or higher. This is because the actual quest that unlocks his buy & sell menu is "A Nose for Business" from Yanita at the Helm. I spoke to Scurlock maybe 20 times doing random missions in between as he needs time before you can speak to him again. I did this as some suggested it was just speaking to him often that unlocked it but eventually he runs out of things to say. So, you get the "A Nose for Business" quest as mentioned from Yanita at the Helm in St. Annes (Le Point Muet), you hostile takeover a manufactory (or I think there is another non hostile way to get it maybe) then you supply the manufactory and wait until it fills it's storage up. As soon as the storage at the manufactory is full go to the manufactory and collect the Pieces of Eight. Make your way back to Scurlock and hey presto, the "Buy & Sell" menu is there. I had barely done any of Admiral Rhamas' questline so I do not think it is related.
I have his buy and sell menu unlocked but there is no option for me to sell my Gold Skull Rum bottles to him. Is there something I'm missing to be able to sell them???
one thing i noticed when you were looking for the helm liaison in fort louis, use your compass at the top, if the mission is selected it will show exactly where the guy is and distance to them
These Long Nines should be a bow weapon only, like the sea fire, that's where Scurlock used them. The spam is completely broken on the sides since it's a lot easier to aim at the sails and you can't brace sail damage.
Hi dude please can you explain when the store is available to buy from Captain John scurlock ? I'm trying to get the Blue print & it's from Scurlock? I only ask because you have to of hrs long Nines ? When can you purchase from him & what missions need to be done because I'm just got side missions from him left ? Do they need to be done? & is they anything else?
update i put in a bug report using my Ubisoft account and now it is working so i think they looked into my xbox account so you can try that and good luck
So basically if you want to get the "good stuff", Ubisoft is telling its players you have to play every day, all day, for at least a week, to get it. For players like myself who only get to play once or twice a week for a few hours at a time, might be able to put together a good loadout after at least a month, assuming the game is even around long enough to benefit from said loadout.
I have most of the starting area captured. I'm making about 790ish gold coins per run. Currently at 3555 coins. I haven't spent any. Recommendations? I have 3 rank 3 fire bb's from the kingpin chests, rank 3 mortar, as well, and a basic long cannon. @@d3athwish
I don't see that Canon complete the storyline they all the side quests did everything and I still see the the long nine and grind so much for this the storyline and I don't get anything reserves or anything this game is ridiculous and hope it's not a glitch spend too much money on this game
@@d3athwish Brigantine and crafted them. I set it up as hit them with the mortar, bombard, ram them the demi as they pass, long nines as you put away. You put on flooding with rhe ram and ablaze with the zams.
I have a problem about that Spurlock asks me for 1000 bottles of whiskey to exchange for a "spurlock's long nines". Yes. But the 1000 bottles saturate my boat, so the sale is refused as "too heavy". And the sale doesn't work if the bottles are in the warehouse. Do you have a solution?
Anyone else have an issue purchasing Scurlocks Long Nines? i have the 1000 Gold Skull Rum but it is not working just wondering if it is bugged ATM

The issue I'm having is not being able to sell my Gold Skull Rum to Scurlock for silver. It's not showing up as an option in the sell menu...
Just make sure it is on your ship and not in the storage. Have had the same issue today@@xNightwing_13x

You need 2000 white skull rum to convert into 1000 gold skull rum

I use dandelles bombard on front, zamzas 3 demis on the sides and long nines on back and love the setup

personal opinion, the ballistas are better than the long guns, faster recharge, ton of damage, very fast projectile, and does a ton of damage.
he just gives me quests I don't get nothing to buy
