To get the top spot one obsesses over the individual at the top. So the infatuation was a studious obsession vis-à-vis The Art of War. These triangles, insecurities included, have continued to play out in Jay’s life. To him people are actors playing a role in the production of his life. He feasts, gains the fruits of his labor, and moves on to the next prey/goal.
