Crater Lake Oregon via BMW 1250 GS Rallye with commentaryCrater Lake

Come with me today to Crater Lake Oregon. I didn't quite make the rim but it was a beautiful ride out to the national forest via 62, Crater Lake Highway. I didn't ever think with it being in the 70s and 80s that the snow would still prevent a drive around the lake but it was an amazing winter here in Southern Oregon. Park Ranger stated mid July for the entire rim to be open. Guess I'll be heading back soon!
Crater lake, 1,943 feet deep makes it the deepest lake in the United States and one of the deepest in the world!
