I went to High School in Klamath Falls in the late 70’s, and been living Arizona ever since. My wife and I bought a small place in Klamath to enjoy our summers there. My son and I ride, making memories. OR140/NV140 is a nice ride to (short cut from AZ) I-80, my wife and I along with my son his wife and my grand children visited Crater Lake earlier year. Fort Klamath is on of favorite rides. Thanks for sharing.
More wonderful memories, thank you Robert an Lizette. I rode this one in 1978 with my wife in late July on a 78 Yamaha 750 triple. Oregon is beautiful.
Excellent editing and music selection! Very nicely done video and one of the best I've watched! May I ask what camera you used? Looks like a GoPro in the still pic towards the end of the video. Also, what editing software do you use? Thanks!
Thank you for the kind comment. i am glad you have enjoyed the vid. I am using a GoPro for most of the video shots. I use Adobe Premiere Pro for the editing.
How beautiful !!! I have become your third passenger . As many have said the only way to do this is by cycle to experience the whole picture, sites , smells , changes in air . I would prefer cycle over car any day !!! You do an amazing job !! What are those tall posts along side of road for ?
+Betty Anziano The tall posts? I am so laughing at myself. I read your question, and had to look at the vid to see what you are talking about, "What tall posts?" I am asking myself. When I see them in the video it is like the first time I ever noticed them because I just take them for granted in any mountainous area. This reminds me that we all have a little different perspective on things based on our own experiences. So anyway, the tall posts. In mountainous areas, with high snowfalls, and where the road may not get plowed out for days, or even weeks, or months, the edge of the road is marked with these tall posts to help the snow clearing crews know where the road actually is.
+28ashcat We made this trip in early September. You may also want to watch our Crater Lake Rim Drive, the link is here: th-cam.com/video/ZzodhakG3qQ/w-d-xo.html
Great video! The perspective of the video lets me experience the ride as if I were the rider. Time to go on a ride of my own. That's not a harley you are on. May I know what bike it is and has this bike been reliable during your long trips?
Colin Chong Hello Colin. Thanks for watching my videos, and yes that is my intent, to give the viewer the rider's perspective. The bike we ride is a Star (made by Yamaha) Roadliner, with bags, and batwing, added. It has given us great reliability throughout our long trips. I would like to suggest though that most of the modern bikes are very reliable, whatever make and model. Maybe we will see you on the road soon on one of your own trips!

Well Thank You! I like to think my videos offer "less talk, more riding", enough said!
One wishes every back road was a quiet and scenic as these old two lane highways! Great video piece again! Quite a joy!
Beautiful ride. Trees, sky and mountains were all amazing to see. And what a lake...indescribably beautiful. Thanks for taking us along.

that's the kind of country I thought Oregon was.
Look at the chemtrails. Geo engineering to blame
