Wait a minute. She works remotely AND home schools her children? You cannot do both of those tings well. No wonder her company is letting go of remote workers. From what I have seen in my own office, the remote workers are the most demanding and they whine more than anyone.
you can do both just need to be efficient don't assume that every remote worker is incompetent. As always judge on results & make sure everybody is happy.
Maybe she works when her husband gets home, or when the kids are asleep, and weekends. It was only 800 to 1000 a month by her own admission. So it's doesn't sound like she was working 40 hrs.
@@tkdevlop I think you are underestimating what it takes to teach children. No I do not believe you can do both well unless she is doing the remote work part-time (like 10-15 hours per week).
I would have let her go too. You cannot homeschool/care for young children AND effectively work a job at the same time. And Dave's "yeah, we are finding that remote workers are the first to go" is completely bogus and he is saying that to validate his own beliefs that workers should not be remote. After all, HIS workers are not.
A lot of big companies have reported higher productivity from people who work on site. With some businesses, it is more efficient for them to not rent out the office space, and some more efficient for workers to be present on site. The way I see it, a lot of people are saying they are just as efficient working at home to validate their own beliefs, just like you say Dave is doing. 🤷♂️
I disagree with the first part, but agree on the second part. Lol. She said ALL remote workers are being let go. Nothing to do with her job performance. And also for all you know she does her remote work in the evening or weekends, when her husband is at home. She only makes $800 to a $1000 a month. So perhaps she only works a couple of hours a day.
She could do other things from home. If she cannot find another 'remote' type job, then how about home schooling other kids for those that want their kids out of the system?
If I had four kids there’s NO WAY I’d work from home. I had the option when my kids were little but nope, just not worth saving the gas/wear and tear on your car. Maybe she has a better scenario where she can lock herself in a sound proof room, but I didn’t have that.
no you cant...she was lucky to have a flexible remote job she homeschools the kids and is the caregiver... tma daycare even if it was safe and not thinking of the poor kids being with who knows who away from home all day would be thousands a month i have a 2 year old....the average amount if i would to have a job with no overtime type of hours would cost somewhere between 250-500 a week...and that isnt safe for my kids either

Budgets have to be in perportion to your income. I'm on ONLY S.S. make 1,700. Hud apt 25 % of income . After bills and food there's about 600 left to either save or use for extras that month . You must have the extra to plan for emergencies

you can do both just need to be efficient don't assume that every remote worker is incompetent.
Stop repeating that lie.
@SilentNot exactly. She was probably just doing what she could to help bring in a little extra income. Nothing wrong with that.
She's losing her job because she's a remote worker who is homeschooling. She's not paying attention at work.
Ever heard of graveyard shift? Go work nights, evenings, and weekends lady 🙄🙄
Remote worker and Student debt loan the new financial nightmares
This is a great example of what's about to happen: work from home people are easier to lay off.
It can be done, and is worth the price of time and energy.
Yep
I agree with the first part of your comment, but not the second.
And a one yr old baby! Maybe if you can catch up in the evening when your spouse is home but still...
The new normal didn’t age well people really believed we were all going to sit home and live behind our computers and bake bread lol
Way to go Jade!!
She should home school her dog
Put a sign on your refrigerator that says: THE GOAL - NO HOUSE PAYMENT - ZERO DEBT. Keep that message front and center.
Stay away from - HELOCS people.
She could do other things from home. If she cannot find another 'remote' type job, then how about home schooling other kids for those that want their kids out of the system?
Hey Jade… good to see you’re still here!
If I had four kids there’s NO WAY I’d work from home. I had the option when my kids were little but nope, just not worth saving the gas/wear and tear on your car. Maybe she has a better scenario where she can lock herself in a sound proof room, but I didn’t have that.
“I’m a stay at home mom so I can’t get another job”, YES YOU CAN. Stay at home mom is a luxury, time to go back to work.
no you cant...she was lucky to have a flexible remote job
she homeschools the kids and is the caregiver...
tma daycare even if it was safe and not thinking of the poor kids being with who knows who away from home all day would be thousands a month
i have a 2 year old....the average amount if i would to have a job with no overtime type of hours would cost somewhere between 250-500 a week...and that isnt safe for my kids either
hahaha yup! I stay at home with my kids and educate them. They drop grapes into my mouth, bring me cappuccinos and rub my feet while I watch TV shows all day. Its a luxurious life!
@@wufflerdance9481 there's this cool thing called public schooling that takes children five days a week from roughly 8-3 pm 😉
The second oldest profession in the world is care taking be it for kids, the infirmed, or the elderly. Maybe consider some before, after, and some school break childcare while you're an at home mom. Maybe pick up a 3rd shift job outside the home.
@@Sixbucks_on_pump3 so its a noble profession if a stranger teaches my kids but if Iteach my kids I should at least get a second job..and this makes sense how?
I just want to know where Jade gets her glasses from. Seems like she switches it up every time I see her with them on
I'm sorry . . . is this a fashion show?
@@Lugnut64052 it is thank you for asking
The more she says the word yes on the show, the better the glasses get?
@@OTOWN2STOCKTOWN 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You don't want her as your neighbor. I think I have the misfortunate of knowing her despite just trying to live my life.
Lol this is not a “real remote worker” it’s just a part time worker that works at home. 😂 there are two types of remote workers higher earners and then lower income workers…
Exactly her description of the homeworker is not what I think of as a true remote worker.
Yup. I work remote (mandatory) and make 170k a year. I get way more done than I did before. So many fewer distractions
@@BusArch42 That’s awesome! What is your profession if you don’t mind me asking?
Wait, the pay from the job is $800 to $1000 per month? That is odd, doesn't seem that significant to me.
It’s not. It’s obviously a part time job.
Yes, there’s no way she could have four kids and home school and work full time. Definitely a p/t job.
Honestly, in this day and age I don’t see how couples think they’re going to make it off of one salary when they have a bunch of kids. That one person would have to be making ALOT of money!
Feminism brainwashed everyone into thinking that working is empowering. Now we all work for peanuts.
In the UK you can do it, but not with debt and not by winging it.
Eh it's not near as bad as you think. Depending on where you live it should be pretty easy.
We're doing it. 60k/yr in Reno NV.
@@scottgiles3053 I'm a ups driver and we have tons of guys in are center doing it on under 100k
Why can’t the kids go out to school so that she can take a full time job that pays more? They have an income problem as much as they have a debt problem, not so?
probably to keep her kids indoctrinated from the woke California mob
This!!!
Maybe they are sick of the public indoctrination camps?? Known as schools
My thought exactly.
Yup. And she could find a job and help pay off the debt. It won't pay off itself.
How do you home school and work?
She doesn't she's trying to brainwash her kids with some religious bulshit and is denying the money education to do so
My wife says "our marriage is worse than I thought." I took her to Arby's for her birthday.
I'd love a beef n cheddar right now
Budgets have to be in perportion to your income. I'm on ONLY S.S. make 1,700. Hud apt 25 % of income . After bills and food there's about 600 left to either save or use for extras that month . You must have the extra to plan for emergencies
home schooled kids are the worst.
We Have Your Ideas!!!! Yes They Sound Wonderful!!! But We Need The Places To Go To And People To Talk To Too Actually Make These Deals Happen. Yes We Know Your Ideas Work Already.
you know whats bad?THAT DOG IN THE BACKGROUND!wow
Start an at home daycare. There is child care shortage, currently.
Let your kids go to public school and develop a business in something you are passionate about. Location is always a peoblem, California is the most expensive state in the USA
Maybe she is passionate about homeschooling her children.
Have you seen what's happening in public schools? I'd never put my kids in that environment.
Well Fresno is like Oklahoma but without all the charm. It really is the armpit of California. Their mortgage payment is only $1400 a month; they'd pay more than that for rent.
By the way, there's been no welfare, Wic, free lunches! Just be smart, make good decisions!
Look into covering childcare in local gyms where you can bring your kids and make some money WHILE you homeschoool :)
Who is controlling Jade’s head nods 😂😂😂
As soon as I read this I looked at the video and she was in the middle of nodding 😂
Brain in gear doesn’t mean the head has to nod. 😂
Either it's some sort of neck-based cardio, or she's a bobblehead.
Hahahahaha can't unsee it.
why. ,,,are her kids home school,,,! That’s part of the problem,,, she should put her kids in school,,, and go out to fine a job,,,,
Not if the schools in their area are bad, using bad curriculum, etc. schools are absolutely failing at educating kids.
They live in Fresno. Its like a super poor L.A. I would never put my kids in school there.
How do you put a 1 year old in school?
@@joyfulhomemaker8053 They can't be any worse than whatever "education" the caller - or respectfully - you can provide. Yes on sending the older kids to public school, where they can learn about slavery and evolution.
@Busy S Are the homeschooling parents trained teachers, or have degrees in education?
She can work nights, after he gets off work.
Ramsey will never recommend that. Only the man works.
That’s probably what she’s been doing
@@BusArch42 Exactly!
I bet HE isn't freaking out! Love the "heart of a mother" but it definitely needs the "head of a father" to give the situation perspective.
They did have more than enough income so how did they ever get so upside down?
Time to stop spending and live on 50% of their income and send the rest to debt
reduction.
The good news is unless you live in a high-income tax and high property-tax location, your taxes will
be very low.
If your job can be done remotely, it can be done from India at half the cost.
She was "homeschooling" four kids while pretending to work from home? No wonder she was let go. And of course feels like a victim. There are public schools and jobs where people actually show up at the office.
I love Dave Ramsey and keep pushing my wife to keep to our budget. But i hate when he give hyper vague advice. 'There are a lot of side hustles you can do at home for a $1,000.' Like what? My wife has looked. So what is this magical side hustle?
Not the heckin Human Resourcerinos!
At least she said, "that we have created"...
Get rid of the pets. A dog on average costs $20k over its lifetime. So many are pet poor. You’re broke, you can’t afford a dog.
No, a dog is a family member. You don't get rid of family members.
That mission trip is sunk money. The trip itself takes earned money out of the house because he is not working. That mission trip should be given to someone else in the church. Don't send good money after bad money. Jesus will understand.
She justifies it by saying the trip has already been paid for; I guarantee there will be spending on the trip that has not been paid or accounted for up to this point.
@@David-wo9un Yes, it will cost more plus the loss of work time. So it would be better to give it to someone else in the church.
Doing cardio to Dave Ramsey. ha
I need this help also. Please
Put that dog on eBay. 😂
A dog is another luxury they can’t afford.
Send the kids to school and get a job. Homeschooling isn’t going to help with their social development.
You're 100% wrong on the social environment. it's been long sense debunked.
What they really mean is the husband will be going crazy
She got a remote job before, so get another remote job or side hustles from home.
You got time to "do" cardio, you got time to work some side hustles.
If they sell their house, where are they gonna live? U can't rent a house for 1400 a month. Even Dave is not so fast to tell people that any more.
Time to put the kids in school and look for a new job.
She needs to go get a job. $800-1000 in California isn't much.
I don't know why shes worried. Her husband was as is the one paying majority of the bills. Her remote jobe wasnt bring much in nd she probably was spending most of it on herself
So she was making $9600 - $12k a year? Lol
I think Dave needs to stop pushing the idea of giving it’s my opinion that if a work hard for my money I’m not giving it to anyone else maybe it’s his way but I don’t think it needs to be preached as the way
There are plenty of work from home opportunities she can find!
Put the kids in Public School for a year and get another job…problem solved.
Total boomer logic to think remote workers get laid off first. I’ve been working remotely since 2020 and have received multiple promotions and great reviews. It’s all about the output
It's not a "boomer" thing. It's about being someone who owns commercial real estate.
Again the shots at remote workers….
Of course. Not needed.
BACK IN YOUR CAGIE, WAGIE.
They always need to push this.
she was homeschooling WHILE working remotely. Jesus loves it when you homeschool and teach kids about Noah's ark instead of EVILution -- but He is upset you were stealing time from your corporate overlords!
Mr. Ramsey has become too mainstream, also to drama driven, rather than providing educational content, he has sold out to maximize profit. Sad.
