It's so tough to decide how to start. Advice from one is "stick to one product" and you can have loads of niches. Advice from another who was reviewing someone's site selling one product is "you're designs are all over the place". I need to figure this part out.
But you have good advice for starting... which i haven't done yet. I REALLY need to rewatch the mock-up part.

Hey Alek, what would you recommend if I am selling digital art: email the customer the file upon purchase or Printify? Also, do I say digital posters or digital art? Some are files of actual art pieces while others are pictures and AI generated art. Thank you for sharing.

Unfortunately, I previously signed up for my store prior to watching, Is this something I can also update using a email address already set up? does it require you to "change your email address" Curious to know if you have the answer before I take the time to dig in! Alek really like your encouraging videos. Please help explain more on the shipping side of this process. What to select for shipping and what about taxes? I am trying not to overthink this like you mentioned about picking shop name and logo but the shipping and taxes part I do worry about. Also how do I know if what I submitted on the product really does fit the product? I need to purchase to verify right? I ask because I am confused about ratios of design to placing on product.

@@yanpa7741 Things are back on track now. Initially, I had 95 listings on Etsy, but encountered some issues when trying to correct one with incorrect images and information. Unfortunately, my attempts to fix it only made things worse, leading me to delete all my listings.
However, I've started afresh and now have around 25 listings, and everything is going well again. I learned a lot from this experience, like not realizing that every time I added a listing in Printify, it stayed on the list even after starting over. Despite the chaos, I'm grateful for the learning opportunity it provided. How are you doing?

😥 just a heads up. The name checker is not accurate. I checked the name I wanted to use and it indicates that it's available. I designed the logo and banner, but when I got to the stage to open the store on Etsy. Etsy told me the name is already in use
Awesome informational videos. You have given me the momentum I need to get this started. I followed all your steps and set up my accounts with your links. Now, I find myself in a situation where I can't get past the "Set up billing" part. I tried different Debit and Credit Cards, different browsers, updated the browsers, deleted cache, disable Ad-Block, restarted my system, tried different computers with no luck. I contacted Customer support , followed their troubleshooting tips and no luck. Have you find this to be an ongoing problem? If so how can this be fix? Thank you!

I tried your uploader on windows it shows the storefront but none of the templates. Should I delete it and try again?
When an order is actually placed what is the process? Does Printify literally do everything? Same question if your listing allows people to change the name on a product before purchase.

Hi Alek I got printify but with living in the UK the products I sell are way too expensive with the postage Even though they say they have a shop in the UK let me give you an example a mug to buy from me is £6.50 then when they put that in there basket to post it it costs something like £27 to buy and that's why I never get any sales what do you think I should do about Printify

Quick note as I’d like someone to point this out if I were in your shoes, I’m not sure if I’m the only one like this but the sound effect you use during the title screens is very jarring and startles me every time - and sounds like that can trigger people with tics and other neurological function issues! After watching your videos for a while I am nearly ready to get started (- have to do some necessary bureacrazy around here first) but I still have a question. let's say I did everything you talked here, printify connected to etsy: when somebody buys on etsy, do I get the money and a bill from printify or is that also automated - etsy pays printify and I'll get what's left?
and what happens if somebody doesn't like my product and wants to send it back?
(theoretical question, my products will be amazing... of course - it's just, I don't have the time to spend every day 5 hours with customer service)

Hello. Etsy suspended my account before I could set up a listing. No reason stated. Bank account linked. I appealed and was sent automated response that their review would not over turn the suspension. No reason given and said I had no other recourse. Any suggestions?
What is the best alternative to Etsy? I got a lifetime ban for no apparent reason last year. Like many, many others, I had no copyrighted stuff up, no lines from songs and I was in credit. All I was doing was selling digital prints that I had created. Thanks.
Try to appeal it. Thier ai system sucks and shuts down beginner shops for no reason until you appeal.

I bought the course but after 5 days my etsy was permanently suspended without a warning. I appealed but it didn’t work. Is there anything I can do??
Do you use a vpn? I've heard that it thinks you might be scammy because it picks up different locations every time you log in.

I’ve heard it’s very common to be suspended when you first start if you upload a lot right off the bat. Give it a few days.

Etsy sounds like a big risk of getting your store closed for no reason. I would like to skip all this hassle if possible. What about linking your Printify POD account to a Shopify store?

Offcourse it depends on things like how you design mockups etc. But can quantify it like 1 to 10, etc?
