I had to just look up how to start a LLC in Texas and it led me to form 205. Much easier than this website. Doing it by paper and pen, the trusted method.
Please skip to 3:18 in the video. Under the “Change Documents” section, enter your Secretary of State Filing number and click “File Document”. If you do not know your filing number: Click the “find entity” button and search for your entity. Once you have found it mark it and click on the “initiate change filing.” From the dropdown menu of filing types, choose the type of document you will be filing (Certificate of Assumed Business Name: This document is filed as soon as you hit the submit button. Please be sure to double check all of your information. If there is an error in your document you may click the edit button and fix it. If you discover after you have filed the document that you made a mistake, you will need to file a whole new document. The Texas Business and Commerce Code does not have a provision that will allow for correcting it.) Click continue. Complete the series of screens, and in the end, submit filing.
I have filed but the filing fee has not been drafted from my account, it is still in the received status. Will the fee be drafted when it changes to filed?
Terrible! Who created that terrible website??? I never saw such horrible usability! That payment method looks from 1985! And doesn't work!!! No chance to attach the card! Called to the office, provided the card by phone, but the payment was not done as well. How its possible in 2024 to show that people and charge money for that?

Yes, this is for LLC Formation though, which is filed with the state.
