Wow this has to be the biggest example of foaming I have ever seen when it comes to railfans or busfans or any other fan for that matter. Well nice video any way. It's still a Flxible even though most of the guys in the video were imitating the sound rather then listening to it's 6V71 engine.
I liked our Flexible busses here in Santa Clara County, our Agency name is VTA (Valley Transportation Authority). Our County has gotten rid of all of them back in 2009. We are left with Gillig and New Flyer. Now I do not ride the bus anymore, I'm a Truck Driver on the Interstate during the day and home at night running about 5 hundred miles a day. Penske Logistics it's called, I did want to drive the bus but really thought deep about it, having to deal with delusional and crazy people and the drug addicted homeless who will quickly funk up your bus and turn it into his home. I said nope to that and got the Class A license and got me a 2017 Peterbuilt and soon just received a nice 2023 Peterbuilt from our company (Penske) and loving it. But again, the Grumman buses "Flexibles" 870's were my favorite busses some of them had the Air pressure Starters on them, yes, they scared so many people when the driver started up the bus with the Air pressure. My other favorite bus was the 1987 GMC RTS T80.
@jiggatone7 I was going to say the same thing. Their "imitations" of the bus's sound effects kinda killed the mood for me; the talking I could tolerate. I wanted to hear the 6V71 moan on it's own, rather than hear other people try to mock the sound effects.
