Thanks! Really I was trying to illustrate two things: how internet access can take simple projects to the next level, and also how this particular board can be added onto existing projects to facilitate that. You are right that you could use an esp32 alone for this kind of project, but it’s nice to be able to use a plug-and-play circuitpython board with this added on. :)
Man those are easier to use than I thought. I don't need to buy a LaMetric, I can just make my own with Adafruit and IFTTT. Awesome vid!! Thank you. p.s. Not sure if this is a boring topic, but how do you vent all your printers? I just have a tiny X1 mini, but i'm worried to use it inside and that I might be slowly poisoning myself.
Wermy I have a question. When will the MintyPI silicone buttons be available again I’m looking to make a MintyPI lite but, can’t find the buttons anywhere else. Or can I use different buttons for them. And if so can you tell me which kind please.
Why are you feeding the monster? Why are you encouraging the use of these cloud based surveillance products like Google assistant? And for such a trivial purpose. Call me back when voice command is on one chip and you DON'T have to feed big tech with more data it doesn't need to use it.
That trick with the grid and the plexiglass was really cool
yayyy our favorite worm uploaded again!
Welp, now I need to get some Neopixel goodies.
or buy some cheap one off amazon
your haircut is looking clean
I commented to help u :) It's amazing
Very nice project! I am confused though why you have two microcontrollers and not use only an ESP32 board?
yes ,this and also why the wemo plug too when on/off could also be controlled with the esp

Please make the effort to edit your videos so as to mute the sound when you say "hey google", like other considerate youtubers do.
