    Could i set up a single panel, and is there a decent card for that? I only need it for a small display (like the ones you find outside a store), hopefully something cheap so that i can use it to display information in my office

    Hello, I thinking buying this product, but I have a question and I would be glad if you can help me, do I need a specific structure to make it work, or I just can connect it to a HDMI or wifi via, installing a specific software y connecting all the panels together without any steel structure or something similar?

    Wonder if one could setup a 4:3 aspect ratio screen from those. I mean, old 4:3 would be used at 480p maximum.

    Hi there, very informative video! Could a color light card with a Raspberry pi 4 be able to run 8 P2.5, 64 x 64 pixels (hub75) led panels? Any more than 8 would require different card or two color light cards?

    Talk about data organization and management. The first text led displays used built-in character generators of different fonts. Now, most of the pixels are generated in the computer, but still in what format and encoding they are transferred to the controller. In other words, what are its main functions in image processing?

    Hi, well done on the explanations. I have a P5 already, with another due in at some point. I'm using a D15 with WiFi, USB and Ethernet connectivity. Although nothing came with the D15, instruction wise, in the adverts it does say it will work using an iPhone to program the display. Any idea what app? There are a number of them. I was thinking of using the panels, one on top of the other?...so a box. So please, what do you recomme4nd. Thanks!

    Short and sweet informative video 👏👏
    I believe one the of the good video I can say for LED modules comparisons. 👍🏼
    I would like to ask some more information if u can ?
    May I ask as per your experience which module (indoor and outdoor) you will be recommending for producing good result in retail environment where product promotion are displayed to attract customers.
    Further more if any video you suggest to give information about using small controller and is is connectivity which produce the testing results.
    Something which saw in some of comparisons video comments that after people install p1.5 screen but result is not as they expected even they produce good quality content but when it display content distorted when it displaying on screen ?

    Great video, are p4 or p3 panels able to be controlled by the same controller as p5 panels?

    • @gregmacaree
      @gregmacaree  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      At the moment, FPP doesnt support them as they need an extra IO Pin. I believe its being worked on.

    • @gregmacaree
      @gregmacaree  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Update... FPP Now supports P4's (80x40) when run via a Colorlight or Linsn card.

    Hello, do you happen to have a pixel configuration file for a p10 32x128 curtain for Ledvision software 3.66? It would be something like p10-32x128-8s.rcvp I believe

    What is the different scan rates mean and which is the best for a Christmas display

    • @gregmacaree
      @gregmacaree  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The most popular panels for Christmas Displays are 320x160mm P5's and P10's.
      P10's run at 1/4 and 1/8 Scan for Outdoor/Indoor Panels
      P5's run at 1/8 and 1/16 Scan for Outdoor/Indoor Panels. The scan rate being the number of lines of the panel that are refreshed at one time. (It all happens so fast, you wont see it with the naked eye!)

    I have 7 64x64 indoor p3 panels and theyre a bitch to drive. Ali express wants 200 for a controller. A seller told me hed give me a free panel and the driver for half price if i bought 7. Theyre like an albatross. I tested one on a pi zero and it works. Id sell them and 2 adafruit bonnets to anyone in canada or the us for 140 cad and throw in high quality caps and even print or laser cut connectors. Id even include a pi zero 2 w and some esp32 controller boards with the parts for them for an extra 25. I have over 100k leds. I prefer through hole leds for art projects.
