Would be great if you could do an overnight test video, set up a cold van with a thermometer set off the Wallas, and come back in the morning. Record how warm it kept the van, how many Wh of battery is used, and how much diesel is used.

Yes, we recommend using Hob Brite with a soft cloth :)
What is the most effective system for heat the van in cold climates; this Wallas system or blown warm air?
Hi, the Wallas has a heat output of 1.8kW while a Webasto hot air blown heater has a heat output of 2kW, so the Webasto would be marginally more effective but both are very similar.

Would it be common for customers to order both the Wallas and Webasto systems in the one van, or would that be unusual?
No it would be unnecessary to have both. The reason for most customers having a Wallas hob is that it frees up space as there is no need for the heater or a gas box for their cooking. I hope this helps, thanks.
