I made some big improvements to my video editing for this one! Added new backgrounds, got rid of the shaky effect, enhanced the colors, and upgraded the sound effects. Also, starting now, I'll include complete subtitles in all my upcoming videos. Hopefully, this will make things easier to follow along for some of you. Let me know what type of video you want me to make next. Thank you for all the support! :)
Hi, Good video, Kindly put the link for ‘shortcut to creat app link’ as mentioned at 4:21 This shortcut is missing in your description along with shortcut for Night vision. Thanks
I use an android, but i think the os on iphone is very optimized and has a ui that blends in with thirdparty apps. Shortcuts was my fav app. Shortcuts litteraly lets you change the icons of an app, and other cool things like making the phone eject water from speakers
I have a question. If I try setting an automation for battery, I can only do it on multiples of 5 for the battery. Is there a way to set it outside of a multiple of 5? (Example: When battery level is 1%)
I don't think so, but after seeing your example, I would prefer setting the battery level at 5% instead of 1%. Your phone might turn off unexpectedly at any moment.
It's really not actually. As I said in the video, lithium-ion batteries tend to wear out more quickly when they are constantly kept above 80% charge. That's also why the new iPhone 15 models have a new "80% Limit" charging option. However, if someone upgrades their iPhones relatively quickly, then I guess it doesn't matter much.
I just found a workaround. Make an automation for the closest that it can reach for the effect, then make the automation check for the battery percentage and make the automation repeatedly check the battery percentage until it reaches the desired value. This works for “falls below” and “rises above”. If you need it to be “equals” then just use two automations to make it if the battery rises to the desired value or falls to the desired value. This can be helpful if you need a warning for when your phone reaches 1%. Now we can say “It just works.”
You explain the creation of Apple Shortcuts concisely and clearly, which I appreciate due the the often confusing nature of Shortcuts "scripting lite" process. But given the broad, almost limitless capabilities of Shortcuts within the Apple ecosystem, I'd like to respectfully suggest that this video might be more accurately titled: "Creating Shortcuts that mostly have to do with that 80% iPhone battery charge thing."
Mixed feelings. The first few were interesting, but then it was all about the battery. In any case, No. 4 caused an eureka moment!🙏🏼 Concerning the “night vision”, just create a shortcut to reduce the white point (in the operation aid section as well). Cheers
You're the best, thank you! My goal is to create the highest possible videos out there, and with only 8 videos released, I believe I'm making quite an impression considering how rapidly people are subscribing!
Optimized battery charging, yes. However, the iPhone 15 has certain charging features that other iPhones don't have. You can choose between Optimized Battery Charging, 80% Limit, and None, in iPhone 15 models. Source: support.apple.com/en-us/108055
@@Senays_random_stuff Huh, well that could be the case for me as well. I have not noticed if this happens without low power mode as I have made an automation to automatically activate low power mode when battery falls below 40%.
@@subject_forest I’m referring to the first part of the video where he said it needs a shortcut to remind you to unplug it at 80% But like he mentioned being a 15 series it has the option for an 80% limit
The point with the red tint is absolutely BS. Just because some military dudes doing this I don’t have to adapt the same behavior. And it’s also looking shitty

make timestamps it would really help too!
The video production quality is just perfect.
Very good video
Great content - consider adding chapters in the future. 👍
Iphone 14's also have the 80% charging option aswell
Hi,
Good video,
Kindly put the link for ‘shortcut to creat app link’ as mentioned at 4:21
This shortcut is missing in your description along with shortcut for Night vision.
Thanks
They're not missing, you need to create them yourself. Follow the instructions in the video, it's very simple and I'm sure you can do it!
Thanks
Made for the Red vision however could not make for the App menu 😕
Oh, why? Did you slide the Open App under each item?

The iFrames shortcut didn’t work for me. It said something like the file couldn’t be found or something
🤯 Wow!! Great stuff. I’m definitely following you !! The time charge is very useful. Thank you !!!
Omfg what an absolute GOATED video
Thank you so much! :)

No. It sounds really pointless as well.
:(

optimized charging is available on all up to date iphones...

You can also ask Siri to run a shortcut.
But my iPhone XR already gives me a notification when it's charged to 80%..?
My iPhone XS only tells me it’s at 80% if my phone was on low power mode before

Love itttt!❤
My iPhone just stops charging at 80%

Wait until people start creating malware using Shortcuts.
Anyway you didn't talk about how to send automated Good Night messages to annoying grandparents, and even randomize them to not make it suspicious.
People already have…
They have been for years lol
