      @mr.skellyboy9700 Alarm Clocks and Phone Alarm clocks are over rated. Get a spectralert advance in your apartment and have it randomly go to continuous. That should get you up and running. 🤣😭

    Given it's an apartment building I'd say someone either burnt food, was drunk out of his or her mind and pulled it, smoked weed, or some other stuff.

      It could he either of those if it was an apartment building for college undergrads. If it’s a “normal” apartment complex, then I wouldn’t think so. Maybe a faulty panel or someone broiling/baking.

      @@ABCEasyas-- college students sometimes stay in regular apartment complexes lol. And it also depends on the neighborhood. The place my dad stayed at since he didn’t their maintenance his rent was free the fire alarms got pulled at all hours of the night etc because the (cough cough) tenants were from what would be referred to as ghettos nowadays

    The plugs popping was probably the GFCI triggering. As for the glitchy coding, it’s gotta be a problem with the sync programming in the panel.

    • @GhostlyPlayz94
      @GhostlyPlayz94  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah! I'm pretty sure it was the GFCI. This panel here does have a lot of problems with it

    I'd guess either a sync malfunction, stuck relay, or another issue in the panel

  • @joeycaridi3030

    If there were System Sensor L-Series devices during the glitched sync they wouldn't do continuous because these SpectrAlert Advances are the ones where they startup on continuous then go into code-3

  • @mikkosslappey6610
    @mikkosslappey6610 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Because there are numerous false alarms, this can be tricky because people stop evacuating. If there is a true emergency, these are the buildings that will be in the news announcing the number of fatalities.

  • @est.g1

    I'm gonna guess the sync protocol won't work and will need to be replaced to get the sync working again.

  • @KanoaDeCastro
    @KanoaDeCastro ปีที่แล้ว

    Crapped out sync programming in the panel probably caused it to go continuous. As for the GFCI, I have no clue.

    On the 2nd day of high school my freshman year (sophomore now) there was a major storm and all the fire alarms started going off for some reason and there was no power to the school for a whole hour and it was kinda weird. So aparently the area I was in was in code 3 normally but I heard in some areas in the PAC (Performing Arts Center) it was on continuous.
    (Btw the system is notifier but idk what system and the devices are all Eaton Wheelock exceeder xenon's)
    Idk why this happened but seeing this reminds me of that incident.
    (btw it would go off for like 2 minutes then off then on again and this would repeat for a while before the school just did an early release because of the weather and alarms)

    I don't know why your not evacuating from what I learned if the fire alarm goes off for any reason then a test witch most apartments will notify you of a test you should evaluate right away

    • @GhostlyPlayz94
      @GhostlyPlayz94  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well they normally don't notify us of tests here, reason we didn't evacuate was because somebody activated it which is a common problem around here. Fire Department didn't show up, It was most likely a prankster doing crap they shouldn't be doing.

      I guess the alarms are set on "Continuous Coded" which is an actual code on these alarms. With that code you can set the panel on any codes you want the alarms to sound. And it's safer for the alarms.
