Hi, thanks to share your video with us. Just one think. If you connect your converter direct with the battery if will drain it until zero. Better use a 12V relay in the same line from the battery "+" side to the converter itself. You will control this relay by using the terminal " load side " from the MPPT to A1/A2 from the relay. Now you are able to program your MPPT if the battery capacity is lower than 11,7 V for example switch off the load. In this case you will not drain and damage the battery.

polarity in DC Bulb is reverse in the video, the tip of the socket was the positive... also it has to have atleast simple ICF(Inductor,Capacitor,Fuse) protection circuit at the battery before connecting to inverter to prevent stressing the battery when turning the inverter On.... the setup in the video will not last long... my comment is base on experience...

I'm a qualified electrician can you explain a bit as I was thinking about getting into pv installations. I know that the inverter is a inductive device like transformer, motor etc. But would the primary side of inverter be primed for dc and non inductive loads already.

THanks for you wel made video and expanation to the subject,You are the right person I like to ask a Question ,I have 30 Amp Epeven controler that has 2 panels in serie of 130 watt each to a 12 volt house battery ,I like to fit 4 more panels of x 80 watt on the roof ,My Epeven 30 amp contoler is to small to handel all this ,can I get the 4 X 80 watt panels through a new 30 Amp MPPT controller into the 12 volt house battery , OR will this upset the charging from the Epeven controler if both are connected to the same 12 volt house battery Thanks if you if you have a awnser for this .Thanks from New Zealand
