Reverend I'm just sharing the joy it gives me. I haven't forgotten about a jam session with you! You inspire me. You play that blues so well! Be making that guitar sang and talk.
Thanks I'm planning on making some additions that will make tge lessons even better soon. I'm really excited about it. Stay tuned bro Ralph! Thank you for being here
Man, I want to thank you for sharing your GOD given talents to help bring a smile and laughter to everyone watching!!! At the 11:02 mark……. And don’t that sound pretty? 14:11 HiHi, that’s that G, G dominant 7 😂 🤜🏼🤛🏽
Another great lesson from a great instructor. I would love to see you explain a little bit more in detail about bending strings and also showing off your gear that you have. Thanks brother be blessed.
Also doc, this is holy ghost criticism! Use your pointer finger for root designation. When you play a Cmaj7 (A string) and your pointer finger extends over the G (heavy E string) it could confuse some people. Food for thought bruh! 😊
@pastormike396 reverend ill take all the advice I can get. You my man! I'm so thankful for your wise counsel. Your right about it too. What's worse... I be pressing and playing that note 😆 🤣 😂. I need to work on clarity
This is a classic! You already know! I heard you in the pocket on that recent video. Let me tell you the pocket matters more than anything when it comes to playing with the band. I'm so glad you're getting the action you need to spark that fire of passion back up!
Thank you for finding value in the content. I really appreciate the analysis. It's encouragement for me as some would prefer a 3 minute lesson on straight information no personality. I want to be more disciplined as a creator but contain help but to express myself!
I’ve been wondering about that squire since I first saw it in the back round. My first guitar is an Epiphone Les Paul Special and my best guitar a squire J Mascis Jazzmaster. My newest guitar is a 20th anniversary squire Stratocaster that I got for fifty bucks on offer up. It’s an amazing guitar for any price. I would love to hear more about your guitars and gear!
Sounds like an awesome collection. I'm going to do a video of my collection and talk about them. I never thought there would be so much interest in equipment and gear. I'm excited to share.
I was just trying this song yesterday. Are you familiar with the Mustang Lt 25 amp? I bought one, but cant seem to find the right setting for R and Bsongs
--- 1. Choose the Right Amp Model Clean or Warm Amp Model: Select a Fender-inspired clean amp model (like "Twin Reverb" or similar on the LT 25) to create a smooth, clean foundation. Jazz or Deluxe Clean: These models typically emphasize warmth and clarity, ideal for R&B. --- 2. Dial in the EQ Settings Bass: Around 4-6 for a warm low-end without overpowering. Midrange: Increase to 6-8 to emphasize the fullness of your chords and melodic lines. Treble: Keep it moderate at 4-5 for clarity without harshness. Presence: If available, keep it around 3-5 for subtle sparkle. --- 3. Add Essential Effects Reverb: Use a medium to large hall reverb to add depth and space. Chorus: A subtle chorus effect enhances the R&B vibe, especially for chords. Compression: If available, use compression to smooth out dynamics and sustain your notes. Delay: Use a subtle delay (set around 300ms with low feedback) for ambient texture. --- 4. Gain and Drive For R&B, you want a clean or slightly overdriven tone: Keep the gain low (1-3) for a clean sound. For some styles, a mild overdrive can work; keep it smooth and not too aggressive. --- 5. Guitar and Pickup Selection Use the neck pickup for a warm, round tone. The middle position can work for rhythm parts with more clarity. Roll back your guitar’s tone knob slightly for a smoother sound. --- 6. Save Your Presets The Mustang LT 25 allows you to save your settings. Once you find a sound you like, save it so you can access it easily.

I gotta get the guts redid. I'm not even sure it's really worth it. You know how it goes with these squires.
