There’s something so raw about watching behind the scenes practice footage of scenes in movies. It makes you feel and realize the amount of effort it took to perfecting the movie
i didn't realize til TH-cam recommended this to me, but the whole duration of the first Pitch Perfect movie was spent ingraining how shitty the Treblemakers/Bumper was, but he gave newcomers time to shine in performances, gave them constructive criticism (although in a kinda shitty way), Jesse literally gets essentially a solo/center stage in this number, but meanwhile we're stuck watching Chloe and the other one (I can't remember her name), mainly the latter, push everyone into the shadows of the "perfect" Bellas performances because of upholding "tradition" and being addicted to that sense of control
I always thought this too! The Treblemakers always seemed like they had a lot more collaboration and that Bumper wasn’t exactly a dictator, just an asshole.
@@IcyPhoenyx true, but 90% of the first movie was spent with Chloe blindly agreeing with and supporting Aubrey's shitty choices. The moment Bumper started with his actual bullshit and leaving the group, every Treblemaker was in agreement over it being a dick move to do
@Leka Floyd the other two competition performances, yes, that's true. but this is the first performance after gaining new pledges, before Bumper dips out, he's literally the very first person you see in the number

I hate to break to u but the sound is prerecorded. It kinda impossible to have that quality of acapella especially while dancing.
