If I could give multiple likes I would. I learn the most when someone like you shows the sonar. Plus you pause and expand it on the video. Excellent!! 👍. Thank you!
Yeah I meant motorguide my bad. I definitely prefer to stand and fish. I may have to rig up my tiller steer for now with my foot controller until I can afford the mtorguide with spot lock lol. I’ve been looking into a pwm controller for it
The non spot lock is a lot cheaper and you can upgrade the gps later. I made a video about fishing in heavy wind without spot lock. It’s honestly better to not use it when it’s extremely windy.
I’ve been in the boat with a few different garmins but never owned one. This is a lowrance TI2 12”. Kinda depends on what you want. They all have their pros and cons. Garmin is the cheapest when it comes to getting a unit and FFS but I think I’d stick with lowrance if money wasn’t an issue.
Thanks for the reply man! One more question, do you still love the minnkota bow mount motor? Would you change anything after having it for awhile? I know a few other stern motors are available. Just curious because that’s the next thing I want to add to my nucanoe so I can do more fishing and less padding 🤣
@@bamabowhunter8499I’ve got the motorguide xi3. I wouldn’t be in a kayak without a bow mount. I’ve never paddled my unlimited. If you like to stand and fish go with the bow mount. If you like to sit and fish a stern might be better for you.

Do you like the Lowrance over the Garmin? Also which elite model is that?
