I’d speak to your bank, explain the issues and damage with the shoes and then show the evidence of stockx saying they are unwilling to do anything about it. It takes a while but you’ll definitely get your money back and potentially keep the shoes as well if stock x are unwilling to help you. I’ve seen this happen in the past and people get their money back, but in future you will have to probably set up a new stock x account as they will cancel your original one for doing a chargeback. Hope this helps :)
That’s why I’m so afraid of purchasing any pair of shoes on StockX, cause of the worst customer service ever. I don’t want to be stuck with a shoe that I won’t want to wear or keep and that I won’t be able to sell for at least the same price I paid. Even if I could get the same price I would have to go though all the trouble of selling a shoe which im not into.
StockX did the same thing to me. It was the Lebron Watch the thrones. It was sooooo disfigured I couldnt believe they would send that garbage to me. It looks like it was literally crushed, Not the box, just the shoe itself. They didnt want to return my money, I kept emailing them and demanded to speak to higher level employee, I sent them a TON a pictures and warned them that I wouldnt let this go.. They eventually agreed and refunded me fully...
I don't see the problem, these defects you pointed out are within the tolerances of Nike. The sneakers I receive from Nike mostly have some kind of minor issue and if StockX was to reject every imperfection they wouldn't be selling many sneakers. At the end of the day, you're buy a £100 pair of shoes.
I understand that, if you're buying retail then you'd accept it. If you're buying a product for £690 from a 3rd party seller platform then defects should be called out.

Omg. So the same thing happened to me. I bought a pair of J5’s alternate bel air. When I got the package the box was all damaged and there were crease/wrinkle marks in at least 5 diff spots on each shoe. Now I only paid like $260, but still that’s a lot and I expect them to be brand new. I should also mention that they ran a little small so I initially was wanting to exchange them for a 11, but they informed me they don’t do refunds and I can sell them on stock x and same thing I’d have to sell them for more jn order to just get my money back cause of fees. But then I inspected more and that’s when I noticed all the creases. So I then hit them up and explain the situation. Now get this- they said that the shoe was something a retailer would sell as brand new so they would not give me a refund. And at this point I’m kinda freaking cause I’m seeing online and hearing from friends that stock x is ripping people off all the time with similar situations. BUT the rep said that the BOX showed considerable damage and because of THAT, they gave me two options- get $40 off my next purchase (like I would EVER use stock x again after this whole ordeal) OR they will do a full refund. So of course I picked the refund, and since I had already seen all these bad reviews about how people would send the shoes back and then stock x would act like there was never any order and the people would never get their money back. So he wanted me to include the stock x receipt/invoice, I made sure to let him know that I made a photocopy of the receipt, screenshots of all our conversations, so he wouldn’t even get the idea of thinking to screw me. Cause they took the whole order off my acct, as if I had never purchased them in the first place. So thankfully I got the refund like 3 days after they received the shoes and made it very clear that I would NEVER use stock x again.
Never ordering from Stock X again. First purchase was the royal blue 3’s. They came with paint defects and creases on the toe box. They didnt want to give me my money back. Filed a paypal claim and got my money back. They banned me. Created another account and bought the Lebron 8 HWC and they came with big glue stains. I got some sb Chicago earlier this month from StockX with minor glue marks and a little bump on the rear of the shoe. But I’m happy you said the manufacturing faults thing which I didn’t know to til now. The sneakers are very nice and clean other than the minor manufacturing faults.
I also found out the hard way about the factory flaw clause they have. Luckily my pair wasn't an investment pair, it was a pair of beaters. But it's annoying as hell. I think in the future you will make money on the strange loves
I've been sent a worn pair of 90s that cost 450 they even smell. The section of the app I need to return them doesn't work and they didn't send me a return form via email. Then I had a cardiac arrest and spent 4 weeks in hospital so now I'm stuck with them. Ffs 😞

To add to my comment, I’ve had great luck with eBay over the last few years for my shoes....and now they have authentication of their own. Research the seller’s reputation of course. Other than one defective pair that I got fully refunded for, everything else has been perfect and that’s with a total of about 30 pairs.
You literally just made the video play by play telling the scenario I just had with Stock X 2 days ago. The only exception was it was for Jordan 1 patent breds., and they never offered me a discount or free shipping. My defect was just as bad and they told me “fortunately we are a market and not a store, if you are unhappy with them, try reselling them”. Of coarse this would be at an almost $100 loss after tax and fees. All I did was spend premium money, for premium shoes and got screwed, …no Vaseline.

Why don't you just resell on stockx if manufacturing defects are allowed to be sold. Never used any of those services thanks for sharing the experience. You'll be a bit out of pocket but probably better than eBay.
Like I said in the video I'm not sure if morally I would be OK with selling them to someone else without them knowing of the problems. Which is why I'll likely use eBay

samething happened to me bro. I bought the medicom dunks from stock x and they came with paint marks on them. they did offer me a 40 dollar credit or a chance to return them. I took the 40 dollar credit looking back I should have gotten my refund bc those marks really do bother me
