Just got this but the last neck pickup sounds like a bridge pickup, can they have made a mistake? Or should it sound like that? All the bass dissappears on cleantones, and on distorted it sounds very metallic and sterile 🤔

Either it’s wired wrong or it has a bad pickup. Pickup coils are wrapped with super thin wire, but that super thin wire has a super thin coating around it. If that thin coating around that thin wire is scratched, burned or damaged the pickup will go out of phase. I was once wiring a strat with Texas specials and a tiny drop of hot solder dripped on to the thin wire of the pickup and instantly ruined it. You should be able to get another guitar with the warranty but that’s a pain in the ass. Sucks. The person to blame more than anyone is the person you bought the guitar from. Any dealer who lets a guitar (especially ones over $1k) go out his door that isn’t working properly is at fault. They should make sure any guitar should be working properly that leaves their store and should put a professional setup on any guitar over $1k. This is all if you bought it from a Ibanez dealer. Unfortunately if you bought it secondhand or from a pawn shop you’ll probably be stuck paying to get it fixed yourself. Not sure if Ibanez premiums have transferable warranties?! If you are in love with that particular guitar I would do everything to make sure you get that particular guitar fixed instead of just trying to get a replacement. If you’re not particularly crazy about it then see if they can replace it. Guitars (especially ones made in poor countries) can vary in quality and performance quite considerably between even the exact same model

Indonesia. I own one and it plays really good. But for $1499 it should include a hard case.
