      As an American it’s so interesting! I think a lot of us in the US dream of achieving this but it’s difficult to break the chains of convenience and the chains of making a dollar to be “successful” but desiring to be in nature and just having the freedom to live. Your comment made me realize we all want the things that we don’t already have and that’s such a core trait in humans! I hope we can all appreciate what we already have even if we still choose to go get those things ❤

    I chose to have my 3 kids at home by myself and nothing was more animalistic or reassuring than knowing I was capable of it after my first son. My mom, sister, midwife, and husband were around but I didn't want anyone near me or touching me, I couldn't help but sway with the pain, and clean, and clear my space, and it was relieving. Doctor appointments i noticed would constantly say "you can't" "you shouldn't" so I ended up only going to one ultrasound each and never knew the gender till I had them. I had a midwife that told me I could and I will and when I feel the most pain I'll feel better to just push and she was so right. Gave birth standing up for the first 2 and on my knees for the 3rd and she came out fully intact in the amniotic sac. My second I was so comfortable I went to the dog park and then on a small hike as I labored all day. Reaching down and slowly having more and more baby in my arms was amazing. I was calm. I relate so much to what she was saying.

    I love everything about this and your birth story brought me to tears. My daughter is now 2 years old and we’ve been naked all day indoors in the Rocky Mountains “potty training” while it has been snowing relentlessly since dawn. I remember leading up to my hospital birth ( luckily I had an empathetic midwife present) and I was like “an epidural sounds like my worst nightmare. Being rendered motionless? No way. Not for me.” I walked in calmly at 7 centimeters. Jammed my playlist and forgot about everyone and everything but the red Western Colorado canyons outside, me and my breech til the last moment baby girl Enid❤ 17 hours of natural primal spiritual transformation that has gone on every moment ever since. Dara is beautiful. As are you ❤❤

I've seen cave homes like that when I lived in Granada but this... you can just tell that everything is just the way you want it to be, no compromise, no pre made solutions. And I can just feel that it was open to nature and sunlight, wind and leaves and sand and dust blowing in, until you had your baby and it was the right time to close the door and make a nest, not a moment to soon or too late.

Thank you for sharing your so wonderful experience of giving birth to your baby and mostly explaining that you felt safe with your body and that's why it went so well and natural! I absolutely agree that childbirth in the 21st century is driven by fear! It’s ridiculous! You just CANNOT get comfortable in a hospital setting it’s so clinical! I wish I gave birth at home so I could just go away into spaces by myself and be with my body alone your body knows what to do and so do you! The pain? Well yes it’s extremely painful sometimes but it’s temporary! And you WILL survive and so will your baby 😘 sending love and happiness to all xxxx

    • @LittleMage1
      @LittleMage1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's not ridiculous at all. I wanted natural delivery with my firat baby and at the end I had to get emergency C-section. If I was at home, even 5 mins away from the hospital, my baby probably wouldn't survive. I agree that childbirth in hospital is not very (or at all) comfortable for women, but we and the babies are definitely safer there.

    Beautiful. Thank you for lessening your impact on the Earth. For being the nature we are and that is so forsaken. I gave birth to Akirah in Costa Rica, on our Earthbag home in a pool of spring water heated in the Stove. I had her father and two friends around. I did never an ultrasound, I went through pregnancy and birth trusting the baby, myself and my body. All went well. I chewed the umbilical chord and ate the placenta raw in frozen pieces. No one should take this experience away from us. We are indeeed human animals and should experience life as such. It is a wondrous thing, to be conscious and to use our power for the highest good. Blessings in love

I felt very identified with the way she thinks, specially the connection with all and the methaphors of the reality with the inner needs of inner state. Not so brave as her yet to get my own proper space in Nature, but definitely eager to get it. Totally agree with what she said regarding blocking yourself and a need to change laws regarding the possibility to live in the same place you cultivate (my case right now... very annoying indeed).
