    The fact that you barely practiced speaking and excelled at the speaking part really supports the Stephen Krashen input hypothesis approach

      I’m very believer in Stephen Krashen approach, people usually say they can’t speak, however, they can’t speak because can’t understand very well, it’s simple.

      @@douglasmendes6934 im also tell that i taked a lot of input on english but i cant speak well but i have habit that i still delebret on translation to my native langauge arabic so it should be start using dictionnary english english and reading some advanced thing or practicing english .

      @@Yassinebus you must use straightly English dicionário because you need to learn things your target Language without use your mother tongue. I don’t know what you mean when you said “a lot of” because I have 2000 hours in my immersion without subtitles, 2500 in podcast in English and it is not enough. Im not fluent yet. Maybe more 2 years in the same pace I’ll get there.

    Para mejorar tu vocabulario activo, concentrate en leer novelas.
    Has una prueba, lee 5 novelas, y compara los resultados.

    • @danielm85899
      @danielm85899 ปีที่แล้ว

      Si funciona, después continúe leyendo más novelas

    Hola,
    Ánimos y a seguir, buenos tus vídeos. Y de los errores es que se aprende.
    Ya que quieres leer novelas, te recomiendo estas dos libros (de Venezuela):
    Doña Barbara
    Autor: Romulo Gallegos
    Casas Muertas
    Autor: Miguel Otero Silva
    Otra recomendación: busca los ganadores del premio Nobel de Literatura que hayan escrito en español y lee sus novelas. Otra recomendación: busca los ganadores del premio literario Miguel de Cervantes y lee novelas de los vencedores de dicho premio.

    Can I ask why you decided to go as far as the C2 exam? It seems very standard that people do a C1 and that's already very competent. Have you already done a C1 exam or are you going straight to C2? Fantastic achievement to get to your level regardless 🎉

      Part of the reason is bragging rights. For non-language learners not familiar with the DELE system, I want to say that I passed the hardest test for a non-native Spanish speaker to take. Also, having invested so much time into this language, I wouldn't be proud of myself for only getting to C1. Passing C1 is beating the game. Passing C2 is beating the game, maxing out your character, and completing all the side quests.

    Were you counting anki as reading or listening?

    • @GiovanniSmith
      @GiovanniSmith  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't count Anki in my Google Sheet, if that's what you're referring to.

      @@GiovanniSmith Okay so that is not considered in your 1440 hours at all? Very impressive to do that much anki + immersion.

    lenguaje formal, es costoso incluso para nativos. y es algo de lo mas aburrido. y puedo decir que palabras que conozco toman diferente significado que creo que se las inventaron, solo para hacerte fallar, pero es mas visto en texto que en forma hablada.

    Romanos 3:23-25 NVI
    Pues todos han pecado y están privados de la gloria de Dios, pero por su gracia son justificados gratuitamente mediante la redención que Cristo Jesús efectuó. Dios lo ofreció como un sacrificio para obtener el perdón de pecados, el cual se recibe por la fe en su sangre. ✝✝✝
