I LOVE Heartstopper! It's so cute, i currently have 5 different copies of Volume 1 😅. Volumes 3 and 4 do deal with heavier topics though. We are still waiting for Volume 5 (which should be the last one). The Netflix adaptation is really good. As are the novels written by Alice Osman!
I just finished reading the first volume and it was really good! The way the story is paced and the paneling make it a quick and enjoyable read! Why do you need 5 copies of volume 1😂?
@@simonsaburou I'm so glad you liked it! One is the normal edition, one is the Fairyloot exclusive edition, one is the Waterstones exclusive edition hardback, one is the Netflix tie in edition and the last is the Waterstones exclusive edition paperback! I collect books 😂
I was interested in Heartstopper, ive heard it is really good, but i saw that the author made some nasty comments about Japanese BL. So i decided against getting it, maybe ill check out the Netflix adaptation one day.
1) As a Oshimi fan, I was excited to read one of his early works. Is Sweet Poolside my favorite work of his? No, but it was worth every penny and I really enjoyed it. 2) After a mention by you in an earlier video, I tracked down all 5 volumes of Love in Hell online (not easy as some prices were crazy) and will get them tomorrow. Pretty excited.

@@simonsaburou So I read all five volumes (Life in Hell x3 and Death Lufe 1-2). It had a lot of great ideas, and was fun with really cool art. Not my usual type of read, but worth the money and real enjoyable.
@@simonsaburou Yeah, the original series is three volumes, then there is a secondary series “Love in Hell: Death Life”. It still has the characters from the first three, but focuses mostly on a new sinner and his demon.

I actually didn’t know that the author said that. I might go do a bit of research out of curiosity
