Oh, man. It's time to catch up with the videos I haven’t watched since I went on a hiatus from TH-cam.
Having not played the game for myself and only watched your and MoistCr1tikal's first hour in the game, my opinions are from a backseat gamer perspective, so take it how you will. First off, the co-op aspect is great. The Elden Ring multi-player mod proves that there is a market for gamers who want to gank bosses with other players.
I do agree with your grip about the graphics, as it doesn't look like an upgrade from Nioh, a game made by the same developer and released in 2017 on the previous console generation. With games like Lies of P coming from an unknown dev team with beautiful graphics and a price tag of $45, I think it’s fair to expect more from a game that costs $70.
I personally don't see myself getting this game, but I'm glad you enjoyed your time so far with it. Also, instead of a manga recommendation, I'm going to make a video game recommendation, if that's fine with you.
Game recommendation: No One Lives Under the Lighthouse
It is a first-person PS1-style indie horror game by a three-man dev team in Ukraine 🇺🇦. You play as a lighthouse keeper who is responsible for keeping the light on at night. The previous lighthouse keeper disappeared randomly, leaving it abandoned for who knows how long. I just finished my first playthrough of it and really enjoyed it. I figure you might like it if you can stomach the graphics. Use this dono to get the game if you're interested. It's $7 on Steam, but I know TH-cam likes to take their 30%.
