I was skeptical about the pick due to his slender frame and propensity for taking big hits in college. I was wrong as wrong can be, this kid is a football savant, his ability to read the field and process coverages is truly next level. Dude has potential to be Peyton Manning with 4.4 speed, just bonkers.
I had the same issue his frame but when they said he had 55 starts in college I knew he was gonna be fine but he is killing it . An wait until he gets more experience smh
Jayden has been amazing since LSU even Arizona state he's always had the talent and I'm glad he's working out for Washington his development is amazing and the team has done a fantastic job fr much success 😊 he's definitely the guy
His release reminds me so much of Dan Marino. He goes through his throwing motion so quik and effortless. I haven't been this exited for my team since I was 11. And I'm 44 now. HAIL!!
rich we would've been happy with 6 wins the entire year based on how bad this team was last year and how terribly we drafted during ron's tenure. the fact that we are at 7 wins halfway through just makes the rest of the season fun
I've watched every Commanders game this season except for the Bucs loss. First time I've done that since 2012. I've yet to see Daniels make any really bad mistakes. He does get a little reckless with his body sometimes, but overall he looks like a QB that started played 55 big level college games. He's making Washington a fun team to watch again.
If you take into account Houston’s recent years & QB play… rookies don’t come in and play like that every season, especially with a team so young. Was it a fluke year? We don’t know yet. As a Washington fan, I really hope That Kid Jayden sets the new standard, he’s certainly on track and we deserve it.
Cmon - I’m as diehard a Washington fan as anyone, but Stroud’s rookie year was insane. From a purely passing perspective, Jayden likely won’t eclipse Stroud’s numbers (although I hope he does). Now, sure, Stroud seems to have leveled off or regressed a bit this year, but that doesn’t take away from the bar he set. It isn’t a bad thing that Jayden is competing with one of the best rookie QB’s ever.
@@ben_jammin9470Fair. But if I had to choose first 9 games rookie year cj stroud or JD, JD all day because JD a dual threat. JD has the arm and legs to make the defense guessing which makes it harder for other teams to prepare for and have their game strategy on how to stop him. Thats why I think JD is a level or two above CJ stroud because of the dual threat he brings.
No matter how amazing you are as a rookie QB, the 2nd season is always a bigger challenge.....cuz now they have tape. There's always a drop off in quality in year 2....but year 3 & 4 is when a great QB truly "becomes".
They actually had good coaches and at least one good QB. Gruden and his stable of McVay, McDaniels, LaFleur. The Shanahans were underrated IMHO. Cousins has always been able to play albeit with a primetime ceiling. Snyder was just that toxic. He would've stunted a healthy RG3 who we've forgotten was the real deal for 1 season.
Got to watch him play when they came to Baltimore, he does NOT look like a rookie. He looks really good and has a ton of potential
Y'all got the best of us that day, here is hoping we see eachother again...THIS SEASON!!!
@@shawnadams1460 That would be so wild if we have a beltways superbowl. Id love to see it
We are happy as hell, Rich.
Please keep talking about the Commanders Rich!! 💯💯
The one thing I can be happy about today is my team and my rookie qb
Yeah and thar Trump on yaay let's go!

Randall Cunningham, Michael Vic and Doug Williams all in one
"This is happening to you, Commanders fans" ...ya damn straight LMAO

I love him and my team but let's slow our roll on predicting the future. They still have 8 games to play. It's great that Snyder is GONE!
I’m with you. We are so young at the core and game to game is all we know. I’m thinking at least 10 games left this season
That's the real W! No more of the POS owner! Even if we won 4 games this year, it's still a winning season because the stench of Snyder is gone.

Stroud is NOT on the same Level as Daniels....Everyone says Stroud made the bar so high, but Daniels absolutely destroyed that low bar,....

I'm not complaining, but Terry Mclaurin cannot be the one and only wide out. We need a #2.
MSN, we straight with regards to wr for right now. Jayden spreads the ball around everybody to eat. We'll address that in the draft

Why he go off like that?? 😂😂😂
Jayden also had a pretty funny 1/2 1 yard 1 td early in the game.
First stroud then Daniel’s. Next it’s gonna be cam ward 🤫🤫🤫
God is good 🙏🏼 #5
Rich Eisen, Are you announcing A SUPER TANK BOWL in Munich GERMANY?????
I wonder how he would fair on the Bears. We should’ve drafted this guy!😖😖😖😖😖😖
@ReeseAnton21
*Why? Daniels rookie season isn't a career and neither is Caleb Williams rookie season a career either.*
@ Your question really made me think. Hmmm? Why would I want to be 7-2 vs. my actual record? Hmmm? Great question.🧐

Oh, he's only this good cause the Bears didn't draft him, 😂
He's not that great. Very good, but can we all please chill on this?
