The Peaks Trail Ride, Main Loop, Hawarden, 06-08-2023

Only had a fifty minute drive to get to todays ride, this is my second lap it was a perfect winters day for a ride, although there were some boggy slippery sections and a couple of hills that were slick and rutted out. Did anyone notice the motocross/ fmx track being worked on 6km before Hawarden on the right side on the way out.

Unfortunately didn't make this ride as I pulled something in-between my shoulder blades the day before :(. Looks like a great day but very muddy.

Was a great day, certainly a fitness test. I gave up after one lap, thought about going out again, but reasoned that's when I usually hurt myself haha. Was pretty stuffed, must be getting old...

Hey there Peter, yeah it was a great day for riding I had two laps and the enduros done by 11:30. I was going to go out for a third lap but changed my mind as my hips ached after climbing those rut covered slippery hills with all the paddling I had to do, my old man hips don't like that high angle, figured the hills were going to be worse by time I got back to them. @@RichardStreeterYZ450FX When I saw you'd come by me at around 20min in the video on your 2nd lap... But I stopped to film a bit - at least that's my story & I'm sticking to it! Time to get my tubliss fitted maybe.

Yeah I thought you had been there for awhile filming. Cool make sure you watch some TH-cam tutorials as there's a correct way to install the tubliss system. Cheers Richard
