Fantastic video, it's great to see the incredible detail that goes into building and maintaining these siloes..thank you. Looking forward to more! Best wishes from London, England.
There is something about the sight of a missle silo that is surreal in a way small nuclear bombs just are not... even though modern small nukes are even more powerful... Seeing those giant missiles just sitting in the silo... that is some intense stuff right there
Modern nukes are much less powerful than those deployed in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Due to the accuracy of modern missiles, at least in the US, the standard warhead is equipped with anywhere from 300KT-500KT. The Titan II was equipped with a warhead somewhere in the 10MT range.
@@insideoutsideupsidedown2218 Woah thats pretty insane. I just assumed that there were thousands of nukes sitting in various places in the world that can blow us all up didn't know the ones deployed back then were stronger
Dave was our guide when we toured the museum. Amazing tour. Super interesting. Dave made us really feel how much responsibility these folks had.
Thanks for putting up some new content. Especially guided by an experienced veteran 👍. Great video.

Thank you all for all you do.
A mile miss from a 500KT warhead detonation is much different that a mile miss from 10MT warhead detonation.
Remember these were design back in the 60/70 and the earth was still flat
