The fact that you would judge him for a team that lost a close game on the road against the #2 team when none of the players are his recruits and it was his and his staffs first game shows you are ignorant when it comes to college football and how to properly analyze the sport. Difficult to do when your OC is directly from that "Brian Kelly methodology" As an ND fan (and a son of ND Alumni) I wish nothing but the best for Freeman though I found it extremely unusual that Tommy Rees (the OC) was hired before Freeman, the HC. I mean how often does that happen in college or the NFL? Usually the HC is hired, then he is allowed to choose his staff.
