Hey ive installed powertronic quick shifter it works fine on upshifts but when i rev match and downshift using clutch it cuts ignition While downshifting only. What could be wrong with it??
Hey, Thanks for watching. The first thing I would do is check that the qs bolt is not over tightened, make sure it's only 5 to 6nm or a quarter turn after you feel resistance whilst hand tightening. Secondly adjust the sensitivity on the software, to a point where it triggers only for upshift and not when you are pressing down on the shift lever to downshift. Check this with the key and kill switch turned on. If it still doesn't work, try flipping the sensor over and follow the same steps.
Sorry that you're experiencing this. It's possible, that with vibrations, the bolt could've backed Itself out abit. Moisture in between the sockets could also effect it as it is a analogue signal. Your best bet would be to remove the bolt, re install it as per the instructions on the manual with the recommended torque specs, adjust it in the software and try again. Also make sure you add some contact cleaner between the qs connector and the harness.
@@revhp4466yes i did re installed the quickshifter but din solve the problem. Thn I checked in the software the quick shift TPS % was at 5 i increased it to 30 and problem got solved.
Never got a chance to test the top speed as it's above 200kmph but the rev limit has gone up by 1k rpm and expected bhp increase of 1.5 bhp upto 3 bhp with the exhaust and airfilter after a dyno tune. An ecu flash would get you a better performance increase and full de-restriction.
