Rachel Aliotta, M.D. | Orthopedic Surgery/Hand Surgery

Meet Rachel Aliotta, M.D., a plastic and reconstructive hand surgeon in the department of orthopedic surgery at UAB. Dr. Aliotta is passionate about helping her patients get back to themselves, both in the way they look and the way they feel and are able to use their hands. Dr. Aliotta trained here at UAB for her hand and upper extremity fellowship and decided to stay because she liked the complexity of cases and the great team. Dr. Aliotta feels that getting an entire team involved in the care for her patients results in the best outcomes for everyone and makes for a much more enjoyable experience for patients.
