How in the world does this guy know so much about every area he is in, he doesn't skip a beat. I do find him interesting and entertaining, and he'd be a cool dude to meet.
We really enjoyed your tour of Puerto Rico. Thanks for making it. We loved Anthony Bourdain and could see you doing something like he did. You are a gem of a person!!🇵🇷
Good to know your in my island. I actually follow you and Sarah some years ago and it was impressive to see you here, not only in my island but in my neighborhood, Old San Juan. I am also a volunteer of Save a Gato. Thanks for mentioning us in your video :)
Old San Juan is still as beautiful as I remember on my last visit to P.R. Enjoyed the tour, Tom. Hope tourism increases by next year...it's such a beautiful island. Thanks for sharing!
Aside from all the fab insights and your originality on these tours, I love the way you point out the animals.....the NYC dogs, the cats, pigeons and chickens in PR. You seem like a sincere and warm guy! Always awaiting the next video! Gracias!!
Didn't expect to see you outside NYC. This video was a nice surprise. As an Aussie, I knew Puerto Rico was a US territory but didn't know much about its history. Thanks for the tour and all the sick plugs 😊
You should read "War Against All Puerto Ricans" you are gonna be in shock what the U.S. has done too Puerto Ricans. The U.S. forced sterilization on Puerto Rican woman from 1930-1970. Pedro Albizu Campos was the first Puerto Rican too graduate from Harvard law school. He was burned & tortured with human radiation, by the hands of the United States. Please read the book. So much in it. Thanks
We were there in July 2019, the day after Ricardo Rossello resigned. There was a lot if graffiti on the historical buildings and celebratory riots in the streets. It was a great day to visit! Everyone partied all night.
Tom,Puerto Rico is one of the most beautiful place I have ever visited and beautiful ppl.I would love to visit again.I miss sipping on Piña colada.enjoy ur time.thank u for the video.

¡Otro fantástico tour! ¿Cómo puedes recordar tanta información? Increíble! No sé si estás ahora en PR, pero si es así, no dejes de ir a Ponce, seguro te gustará. ¡Saludos!
Surprise! A day after we see Tom in NYC - he shows up in Puerto Rico. The magic of modern technology. Tom did foreshadow this trip when he pulled out a book on PR on a recent tour. Tom reads books and crushes another tour.
Dude I dig the way you walk .you walked the whole old san juan in 30 minutes and you covered everything .i was raised im old san juan .i saw my buddies old house when you walked pass it thanks alot for this video
Tom, I had to watch this video through twice in prep for my visit in 2021. I honestly don't know how you retain all this badass info. SICK, as the kids say. Had my History Profs been this hilarious, I would have retained something! Excellent job, as usual. Sweating your ass off for all of your followers (and we thank you, baybay!) Keep droppin' that epic knowledge on us, Tom!
Loved this video so much, I just watched it, again! I hope you get to do more videos on Puerto Rico. If interested there's a really good podcast produced by WNYC called "La Brega" on PR. Thanks again for visiting our beautiful island and for the history!
So many people leave out these parts of PR history. Thank you for full transparency/accurately sharing our history with the world. Thank you for speaking of the good and the ugly.
It’s a good thing you did this tour during Covid because that city is always teeming with tourists and locals too.!🥰🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷❤️ you did an awesome job Tom💯‼️
This is my first time watching...my mother is from the island..................I usually go and stay in el Condado area.....for me it is a spiritual visit.....can you tell us about the trip...and the whole process ( during Covid)............I am from the Lower East Side, by the way..........I will make sure to watch your videos..
You are a wealth of info., I really enjoy learning so much from your videos. I have been to San Juan a few times on a cruise (see my profile pic.) and always had a great time! Loved the Bacardi factory tour.
Tom I do believe you are moving into "Anthony Bourdain" territory. Next stop the island of "Cyprus"! I would love to get your take on that divided island of Greeks and Turks. Oh, the island is quiet lovely too, so I hear.
You did such a fabulous job!! I shared this on my FB page, you went into the history and everything! Loved this so much. Thank you, keep them coming. Love your channel.
Great job Tom. Your videos are great, funny and very informative. FYI, the reason why the Puerto Rican flag has the colors of the Cuban flag is because Cuba helped Puerto Ricans whom were persecuted by American government by giving them shelter in their country so we adapted their flag colors in honor of their hospitality and help. Also Dr Albizu Campos was an extraordinary man who wanted the best for the island. Please do more research about all he did and attempted to do for his people and land before and after Luis Muñoz sold his soul and that of the people of Puerto Rico to the US. Overall great video
You are so right. Pedro Albizu Campos was Everything! Everyone needs to read the book "War Against All Puerto Ricans" so they could understand how the U.S. did Puerto Rico dirty in the 1900" s.
@@annettecotto1088 I wish more people did research about all our great forgotten leaders. Especially Doctor Albizu Campos. “. War against All Puerto Ricans” great book!!!!
@@lookingback5889 I be on twitter posting his photos from Harvard law school, the sugarcane plantation strike, and many more. I also use his name on my account in capital letters. Til the day I die I'll share his life stories. In Harlem, NYC they are learning about him , and the lower east side. I just learned about him in 2020. I cry when I seen him tortured with human radiation. I Love him! He loved us all. Pedro Albizu Campos VIVE!
Thanks for the walking tour! I appreciate the effort you put into gathering information and informing us. I would love to see more videos in the Caribbean and outside of NY (but I love your NY content!). Thanks again for sharing your love for the connection between place and history!
Thank you for that beautiful video about Puerto Rico,do one about all the beautiful beaches and Puerto Rico food.Gracias por tan bello vídeo del Viejo San Juan, debes hacer otro de las playas,de la gastronomía de P.R.ir por la carretera del lechón,wepaaaaaa!
You are really good. I was baptized in that Cathedral and lived in the El Convento when they were apartments (rather my parents lived there, I was a newborn. When I was 2 we headed to NYC) Thanks so much for these memories. Now I'm going to look for your NYC videos, I grew up at 328 East 59th Street, across from the Queensborough Bridge. Maybe I'll find it on one of your videos.
Tom surprises us in seconds, there was no indication anything, he is in Puerto Rico, perfact time for tour, so quite beautiful there, not many tourists. He can be a tour guide in any where.
I've been to Old San Juan twice and this video brings back memories. I feel that Puerto Rico's El Morro is very similar to the one In St Augustine FL and Havana Cuba. Of course all built by the Spanish. You should go to At Augustine FL and Savannah GA. Lots of history there, nice views, and they're relatively close to each other :). Thank you for the tour. Awesome as as always!!!
Love your channel. I have learned so much since I started watching. You are definitely at a different level when it comes to educational content. Keep up the great work...
I visited Castillo San Felipe del Morro 2 years ago, so beautiful. I also enjoyed seeing the Walkway of the Presidents in front of the capital building. My grandfather fought in the Spanish-America War. He died in 1936, so I never got to meet him. My mom was 6 yrs old when he died. Very nice and friendly locals in PR.

Tom, the amount of information I learn during your virtual tours is mind boggling. I really appreciate what you put into these videos.
