omg i had an iphone 5 somewhere in my house for like 2 years. we had a lot of old family pics in that phone but we just didnt pay attention to that phone cuz we had better than that iphone 5 . My 5 totally died last week and took EVERYTHING with it. I went online and looked for every tip I could to try to get it to turn back on. It didn’t work! It had been acting up for a while so instead of having it repaired I chose to take the money and just upgrade. I lost sooooo many numbers though. I figured I’d give it one last chance. my 5s just went completely black and didn't turn on, it wouldn't charge, i even took it in the fridge for 10 min so it would shut down, so i can charge it again, it didn't work. and i couldn't reboot it, because my home button doesn't work, so this was my only chance, and it worked fine.
but don't use those amateurass tools this ashyass is using, smh, buy good tools from ebay or something, u wont regret it! TRUSS

ok... I did exactly as shown.. I removed the screen from its case... but mine is different... the battery connector you showed was screwed down. so I just removed the connector from the home button and reconnected it and it worked again.. if you have tremors like I do... it makes doing that much harder lol but I did it and it worked. thanks for the video!

Ok so you you need a special star screw driver and you do have to be careful opening the phone to not break anything then there is a sheild on the battery cover that you have to remove with a small screwdriver and than you can disconnect the battery for a few seconds and reconnect it

Nahhh the battery is already disconnected and yours doesn’t have the bracket and whats up with that home button wires, wires should only exist in iphone with finger prints sensors

My iPhone 6s Plus wouldn't charge and it was completely dead.
I tried different a charger, different cord, plugged it into 2 different USB
ports, and tried the adapter into 2 different wall sockets. Nothing worked.
I know this sounds silly, but try this 1st before anything
else...simply put the part of the changer cord that plugs into your iPhone into
your mouth or lick it on both sides, plug it back into your iPhone. It should
start charging again.
Worked for me like a charm. I had a friend who told me to try

Or you could take it in somewhere and have someone fix it for you. But you're definitely not opening it up on your own it could break the internals and then the phone is really broken by that point.

try to connect phone with pc itunes with holding power and home button if your phone connects or show anything in ur pc itunes then it means it not from battery and if nothing shows then try this method it will definetly fix the problem

Yes he loosened the screws, it the only way to get into the phone since the screen is screwed down with the rest of the phone.

Try holding down the power button and the home button at the same time on your iPhone until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
