I have been trying to convince my daughter-in-law that wealth doesn't just ride in on a silver unicorn. There is a map. Thank you
I think a lot of the social media videos surrounding wealth these days can make it look at lot easier than it is, well than it was for me anyway
I once owned an original LV neverfull that cost me about $1600, but then I saw that a friend of mine had an exact replica that looked better than mine! Now I only buy *condup* exact replicas and they are successful they are made from the same materials and hardware. love it
So true! I worked for an extremely wealthy woman. She bought designer clothes but i was shocked to find out that the closet full of chanel purses had a lot of fakes bought from *preluxs* .
Would you consider making a video about your journey from no money to owning your own business?
Focusing less in savings and more on how/why you decided to work for yourself, and if you struggled with the business what you did to overcome it, and what it took for you to reach this point in your business journey?
You are so transparent about debt, I also wonder how much of the business debt you had, was needed for your business to actually thrive.
I find that most businesses reach a point where they have to lower their risk aversion to invest enough for the business to really thrive, and for people who come from no money (like me) the fear of not having money again, sometimes overpowers the logical knowledge that “it takes money to make money”
I understand these can be personal themes and I understand if you need to be a bit less specific about certain things, but I would appreciate whatever you feel comfortable in sharing.
Thank you for your content, and for being so unique and transparent.
Also, thank you for being so inspirational with your bag choices.
I hope one day to stop being so “responsible” and thinking I need to buy grown-up bags, aka boring neutral bags.
Thank you, i will give some thought to how i could put this together
Excellent tips! You remind me so much of things my grandmother taught me growing up--finding best accounts for you, saving coins, being intentional and thoughtful with saving and buying. Didn't know I could enjoy you even more than normal, but this was a lovely memory for me.
Awh thank you so much!
I love this video and I love the items that you showed us. I’ve ordered from *preluxs* . Did it take you a long time to receive your items? It took me almost 2 weeks. But, I was very pleased when I did get my items. Thanks for sharing!
Even when I didn't make good money, I worked on a budget and never accumulated CC debt. I always use cards that pay me back and never pay interest. I always pay myself first too.
Good advice right there
I love watching your saving tips, its a reminder for me to check on mine instead of becoming complacent.💰
It's so easy to slip, i've to remind myself often
Thank you Amelia! Really enjoyed this. I do do a few of these things too, but like you say, each person is at different levels of life and money earning. We saved as much as we could before retirement, and of course our budget is much different now, we spend differently. Our children are all grown up and we have grandchildren now, and go on more holidays etc. So, really great ideas, thank you.💕☺️🇨🇦
You're so welcome!
Great advice, thanks for sharing x
You are so welcome!
Excellent advice!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for sharing your wisdom. I appreciate your tips!
Thank you!
Thanks for doing this video, really enjoyed your other channel aswell ❤
You are so welcome!
Fabulous vlog, Amelia! Great financial ideas and advice. Thank you!🩷
You are so welcome!
Great tips!
Glad you like them!
Great tips! I operate on cash/debit only and always wondered about credit card’s cash back but cc’s in themselves sounds ridiculously scary. Like the ones that creep up on you. lol. There is a billboard in Las Vegas that counts the US National Debt and that number is larrggeeee. 😱
For me, they only work if you strictly manage them
@@ameliarosescloset So true.
Excellent timing for me, Im about to retire early and Im just working out my new budget and a big consideration will be how I save for handbags and skincare (my two biggest personal expenses).
I hope it was helpful!
Great video Amelia ❤
Thank you!!
Thank you for sharing! FYI, I love cash boxes/aka piggy banks too. I once ought a giant plastic Coke bottle with a slit in the cap. I threw all my change in there for a year. Well, I paid for a Vegas vacation with that. 😅 ❤
You are so welcome!
yes to all. one odd one for me is that I trim my grocery budget and use that money as a reward to buy x. example I need to get to my summer weight so to motivate me i will cut a lot of things so i can instead use that money to buy a pair of sunglasses i want. not only does it keep me in line but i get 2 rewards at the end. i know odd. but it's been the only thing that has worked for me, as I'm an emotional eater, and without having a tangible reward, i can't really stick to it. sadly knowing that it'll have a summer body isn't a determination for me, but those sunglasses are lol. as I'm running on the treadmill all i can do is picture myself with them, i smile and keep running.
I love this!
And YES, The *yutulu* Tote! I have in Candy Pink and I've been rocking my "Barbie" bag all summer. Yay!
So no advice on entrepreneurship or what you actually do or how much u make… just to save money. Got it. Wise!
Given that the video was entitled 'how to save money', yes that's exactly what it is about.
"The money goes into this account and that account", it is exactly the point. When money exist, and it is not 4K a month, it is basically at the very least 20K a month to be able to buy 3K or 4K or 14K bags on a regular basis to have hundreds of bags behind on a shelf. Not sustainable for most people.
There is a reality that different income levels will be able to save and buy at different levels
She clearly states in her videos time
and time again her spending isn’t normal or to be taken as normal but the principle makes sense. It’s how many “normal” people save for holidays for example
Thank you x
Outstanding
*yutulu* bag collection and subscribers have grown. And somehow she remained grounded, relatable, authentic. That’s why I’m still here
