But a guy who cares about his looks, such as dressing well and taking care of his hair is something a japanese girl prefers. So thats the kind of thing that will get you laid over there

In fact this particular type of music isnt them ost popular thing people listen to japan( contrary to most westerners think) There is a demographic for visual kei. But if you look at alot of younger japanese people you'lll find they listen to bands like bump of chicken, flumpool, and other bands like that.
