I saw this movie when I was young and never did I think she was ACTUALLY seeing him, it was clear to me that it wasn't real, only because he literally can't get into her head, his powers are reading minds, and she was the only person he couldn't read, which means his powers couldn't make her see him. I didn't know why but I just knew it wasn't actually him. But I do see why people would think that. The reason was because he is a vampire, and while he was into her, she was obsessed with him, it was like a drug, a withdrawal.
The math doesn’t add up. 1918 to 2007 or 2008 or 2009 is not 109 it’s 89-91 years. Unless of course Edward was born earlier than 1903 because I think he was 15 or maybe 17 when he got bitten. Either way the math is off.
Edward was born in 1901. Edward was bitten and turned into a vampire in 1918 at 17 years old. Edward was a human for 17 years and has been a vampire for 91 years. 17+91=108 years old total.
Kristen Stewart actually did a fantastic job portraying bella. In the books, bella is shy and introverted, and Kristen plays that part brilliantly. Teenagers are awkward/shy/clumsy. That's the whole point. You really see the change later on.

So to Jaby's comment about Quill&Embry working out vs Jacob, you're kinda right. So in the books when Jacob's wolf genes ignite he transform from like the skinny kid to the this like massive body. So for filming, they were gonna replace Taylor with another actor but Taylor wanted to keep the job so he worked out like krazy to build a bigger physique. Cause the actor that played Sam isnt as built or cut either but I think it was Taylor making a point 😂
Regarding the ages, Bella is 18 and Jacob is 16. Edward is over 100 yrs old, but whatever age you get turned is the age you'll remain forever. Therefore Edward will always be 17 physically. I'd hate to get turned into a vampire as a little kid😂
TBF, the movies don't do a great job of portraying that book Bella was up front with Jacob & told him multiple times her feelings for him were platonic. Jacob was the one constantly crossing lines to be more than friends hoping to wear her down, which he sort of did. I was team Edward, but then mostly because I loved the Cullens in general & they have Alice- she was/is my favourite twilight character. I wish she'd had a book or series written about her, fleshing out her life before the Cullens as her backstory is really interesting. Nope- IMO the books are 100% better- so much context is lost in the movies. Jacob is 16, after his wolfout, his body rapidly matures to that of a ripped dude in his early-mid 20s from what I recall.
Gotta disagree, i think Bella was finding comfort in a friend. And Its the same way you would find healing in any friendship. And That's not using someone!! Friends lean on each other. Bella loves Jacob, as friend. And now she's confused because jacob wants more but shes not ready. But she loves his companionship!! She was probably experiencing some feelings for jacob but she knew her heart was with edward. She was conflicted. That's why she didn't let him hold her hand!! she wasn't leading him on though. Despite the depression of Edward leaving, Bella is also going through a "cleansing" of vampire venom!! That's why she suffered so much during this period because in addition to her love for him, she was kind of addicted. and the same goes for Edward, he was addicted to Bella's blood so when he left, he also ended up suffering a lot for leaving the person he loves behind and for the addiction they ended up creating in each other. It's like he says in the first film: you're like my personal heroine. Although this isn't my favorite film in the entire saga, I really like how it makes it clear that at the beginning their love is confused between addiction and genuine passion. By the end of the 3rd installment Bella's in the middle of an intense love triangle with two Hot supernatural boyfriends from differing races and so appreciated by other members of both sides that they agree to "Squash The Beef" between them for her sake. Not only is Bella going through depression, but she was stalked across the country, tortured, nearly turned, and bones shattered. She has PTSD. Edward spent every single night in her bed or in the corner of her room. She doesn’t have anyone to soothe her while she sleeps anymore. I also saw someone mention that Bella’s going through withdrawals with Edward. They’re literally each other’s drug. He was wearing the same clothes as the last time he saw her. He hasn’t bathed (not that he needs to). They’re both falling apart. Fun fact: Fifty Shades of Grey was originally Twilight fanfic before she turned it into its own story.

Jacobs acting was exactly what it is supposed to be. Calm, layed back, normal guy acting. Edward has 100+ years of experience and life so his maturity/experience is what separates him and Jacob. Jacob is ACTUALLY her age. Or very very close. any year or so age gap is nothing really.
If you read the books you would never be Team Jacob, not even Bella was. The movies leaned too much into the love triangle, there never really was one, unless you're a moron and can't understand the material. Also, yes, I am sick of Bella as well, but only because Kristen's portrayal of her is so wrong. Bella is weird in the books, but not THAT weird. Stop shaking when you speak, Kristen.
The reason the director changed was because the first one refused the release times they wanted. The books are great and you get a better understanding of Bella. She’s never had boys interested in her so realizing Jacob is in love with her takes a while… she tells him at the theater that he sees more meaning in holding hands than she does… Kristen Stewart has a problem I think playing a weak/vulnerable character. She does the same mannerisms in (SPOILER) Snow White and the Huntsman. If you watch her in Panic Room she rocks..
Just my opinion here. If there was not High School, how would Edward and Bella meet? The vampires do not associate with the humans, other then school. If we did it your way, the whole series would not exist. They6 took a book and made it into a movie. Just my opinion. Sorry. I feel so bad for Jasper, because not only does he have to deal with his own blood lust, but his family's as well! I don't see all of the issues with Bella! She's relatable to me
the only thing i was disappointed in this saga for was NOT uncovering the vampire past life. edward's and rosalie's and jasper's are discussed, but the rest of the cullen's are just skimmed through. alice back story is so important AND traumatizing, with her being sent to asylum by her father because she saw him killing her mother (hence she is known to be a lil... eccentric. or not completely right on the head). James knew alice from the asylum. thats what he is hinting at at the ballet studio in the first movie. esme's quick approval to welcome bella and foster the cullens stemmed greatly from how she had a bad abusive marriage in her human life, with her attempting to kill herself when her baby died (thats when carlisle found her). emmett was probably the simplest one, just a strong dude wanting to hunt for his family but ended up being attacked by a bear (and rescued and turned by rosalie cuz his curls reminded her of her friend's newborn son and how she always missed out on having kids), so emmett is the most simplest one in the cullen family too. volturi's past life is also so interesting, and also how they recruited the twins jane and alec (i dont think they ever said about alec's power: the complete opposite to jane) and the rest of the "guards". or how aro was willing to kill his own sister just so that now that his wife was killed, marcus would have no choice but to stand beside aro and rule the volturi full time (hence he usually seen as the most laidback i-am-ready-to-die attitude , especially in the fight in breaking dawn part 2). caius is just cold.

Different people react differently in stressful situations, and judging people for acting differently from how you expect isn't the greatest.
No one wanted to make the first Twilight movie. All the big companies thought it would be a bust. The first movie only had a budget of 40 million I think. That is why it was so cheesy especially with the special effects.

Not only is Bella going through depression, but she was stalked across the country, tortured, nearly turned, and bones shattered. She has PTSD. Edward spent every single night in her bed or in the corner of her room. She doesn’t have anyone to soothe her while she sleeps anymore. I also saw someone mention that Bella’s going through withdrawals with Edward. They’re literally each other’s drug. He was wearing the same clothes as the last time he saw her. He hasn’t bathed (not that he needs to). They’re both falling apart.

Jacobs acting was exactly what it is supposed to be. Calm, layed back, normal guy acting. Edward has 100+ years of experience and life so his maturity/experience is what separates him and Jacob. Jacob is ACTUALLY her age. Or very very close. any year or so age gap is nothing really.
He was 16, and his birthday is in January. She's 18

If you read the books you would never be Team Jacob, not even Bella was. The movies leaned too much into the love triangle, there never really was one, unless you're a moron and can't understand the material. Also, yes, I am sick of Bella as well, but only because Kristen's portrayal of her is so wrong. Bella is weird in the books, but not THAT weird. Stop shaking when you speak, Kristen.

Just my opinion here. If there was not High School, how would Edward and Bella meet? The vampires do not associate with the humans, other then school. If we did it your way, the whole series would not exist. They6 took a book and made it into a movie. Just my opinion. Sorry. the only thing i was disappointed in this saga for was NOT uncovering the vampire past life. edward's and rosalie's and jasper's are discussed, but the rest of the cullen's are just skimmed through. alice back story is so important AND traumatizing, with her being sent to asylum by her father because she saw him killing her mother (hence she is known to be a lil... eccentric. or not completely right on the head). James knew alice from the asylum. thats what he is hinting at at the ballet studio in the first movie. esme's quick approval to welcome bella and foster the cullens stemmed greatly from how she had a bad abusive marriage in her human life, with her attempting to kill herself when her baby died (thats when carlisle found her). emmett was probably the simplest one, just a strong dude wanting to hunt for his family but ended up being attacked by a bear (and rescued and turned by rosalie cuz his curls reminded her of her friend's newborn son and how she always missed out on having kids), so emmett is the most simplest one in the cullen family too. volturi's past life is also so interesting, and also how they recruited the twins jane and alec (i dont think they ever said about alec's power: the complete opposite to jane) and the rest of the "guards". or how aro was willing to kill his own sister just so that now that his wife was killed, marcus would have no choice but to stand beside aro and rule the volturi full time (hence he usually seen as the most laidback i-am-ready-to-die attitude , especially in the fight in breaking dawn part 2). caius is just cold.

No one wanted to make the first Twilight movie. All the big companies thought it would be a bust. The first movie only had a budget of 40 million I think. That is why it was so cheesy especially with the special effects.
