This beautiful song was written by Jordan Smith. He was the winner of season 9, "The Voice". Jordan is a songwriter, musician, and an amazing singer. Celine Dion definitely sang this song, beautifully. ♥️🎶♥️🥰♥️🎶♥️
Celine showed that she has a good sense of humor years ago. Ana Gasteyer played Celine Dion in numerous Saturday Night Live sketches starting in 1998. On several occasions, Gasteyer has appeared on stage at concerts with Celine for a brief comedic interaction. She would say things like, "I am the world's greatest singer. Life is good, eh? My life for sure is better than yours!" OR "I am from Quebec. I am the youngest in my family of 37 kids!" (Celine is actually the youngest of 14). Celine basically said, if they're spoofing you, you're doing something right! Celine and her voice are gorgeous in this video! She wasn't kidding when she said, "This thing only goes to 11!" 😁
There's a very emotional story behind this. She was in her lowest of lows after her husband's death. Stopped singing for awhile. Ryan Reynolds saw this and remembered a time he was in the situation and almost quit himself. He sent her a super amazing letter of support. He had her in mind already for this song and asked her to sing it for his movie. She said it helped bring her out of her depression. Do know if that was Reynolds in the mask at the end but it was definitely his voice.
What a beautiful song! This was the first time I've heard it. Celine has a beautiful voice and she is such a lovely person. Perfect song for her to sing.
Ryan wrote a personal and emotional letter to her asking if she would do this for his movie She was in bad health after losing her beloved husband and so lost without him and in his own way Ryan could relate to that as he had not long lost his Father. He wanted to help her get trying to live again and sing. No wasn't Ryan another amazing dancer. There is an interview with Celine talking about Ryan writing her a beautiful letter.
You're the very best! I live the song. The video is hilarious, but the song itself is so simple yet so beautiful. The lyrics and the way she sings it! ❤️
Never watched a Dead Pool movie so I missed this song from Celine.....She has such a recognisable voice...so much passion and I love the little 'cry' in her vocals too. Will search for the lyrics too. ps loved the comedy at the end....hahaha
Celine is a powerhouse! I know maybe five words in French, but her song "Pour que tu m'aimes encore" from her 1995 D'Eux album was my first exposure to her back then and I've loved her stuff ever since.
I enjoyed this song and Celine knocked it out of the park as always. I hope you can also do more Lara Fabian reactions when you get a chance. Her biggest hit in the U.S. was the song I Will Love Again from 1999.
Céline Dion sang a song by Barbra Straisand at the Oscars in 1997, "I Finally Found Someone", she was asked to replace Natalie Cole with less than a day's notice and read the lyrics to the song on paper, the song is clearly Barbra's, but Barbra couldn't perform because she was sick on the day, and Natalie Cole, who was originally going to replace her, was also sick or had unforeseen circumstances if I'm not mistaken. It's a great cover of Celine th-cam.com/video/YjZimqvX1Jk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=F4Soa_rG41tPLvPl This is the performance if you want to see it

@@KaliFlamingo I’m sure there is a photo of Ryan Reynolds with Celine and the dancer Deadpool floating around.

I didn't really know this song. I'd heard it once on The Voice, but failed to note that it was a Céline song. This was terrific! I loved it!
Great song and cool video!

I reacted to that song, but it is currently blocked on TH-cam and its on Patreon until that issue is resolved.
Always such a instant recognizable beautiful voice. Beautiful song. TX Saeed. Greetings from South Africa
Powerhouse! Thanks for watching. Greetings from Belgium.
That was a woman portraying Deadpool on the stage with Céline Dion. The high heels are the giveaway.
Love Celine!
i believe this song was the result of a favour Celene owed to Reynolds. so in my book it makes it so munch more special
