I am so sorry to hear that you lost one of your steers. Unfortunately, that is part of farm life, isn't it? There's always something to do on the farm. Inside, or outside. Especially when you are going to have to get everything ready for the coming deep freeze. God bless you all!
It's farm Life, but that doesn't make it any easier. So sorry for the loss of your steer The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. That's just how life is, whether it's on the farm or not. So good to know that the Lord is guiding and protecting us, our families, our pets and livestock .❤️🙏
I’m so sorry for your loss, you may never know what happened. Please don’t let it ruin your day, because it’s totally out of your hands. Sending prayers, You guys are amazing , especially the way you work together. And everything you know and do. Thank you for sharing everything with us. We appreciate you and your family!!
I’m so sorry for your loss Misty. We don’t have cows or large animals, but we love our dog and all the squirrels and bunnies and birds we feed in our back yard. Each one is very special. I sure enjoy your videos, watching the farm life and family. Blessings to you and your family.
Sad news that you lost one of your cows. I am sure you all will keep a close eye on the others to look for any signs of distress in any of them, too. 🙏🙏
Awe man! I hate to hear y'all lost a steer. The Sow we purchased back in October - delivered 6 piglets this past Sunday the 12th - so Happy Birthday to me! We had luckily moved her to the barn earlier last week - prior to the snow arriving! The mom and piglets are doing well - I'm just nervous on separating them when she weans them. Any suggestions will be appreciated for separating the sow from the piglets.
Sorry for your loss Misty and Colby maybe the Lord has another baby for you two. I know that he would have been meat but I know you get close to them. The Lord will provide I know your not worries about that part but it does hurt and bother you. Prayers and blessings to you and your family.
You both work so hard. Farming is hard. You are amazing in how you juggle everything to make it work. So sorry for your loss - especially knowing it's part of your livelihood.
Team work is key...even in housework I noticed when we work together it gets done as if 3 people were doing alot quicker and easier..so on a homestead it's a must! Great when your married to your best friend...Gods peace
So sorry for your loss. My husband helps an older man that had lost several calfs over the years. Makes him so sad when he finds them. Blessings for you and your family!
As always, it was good to see you and the children going about the business of the farm and your lives. I'm sorry for your loss. It is exciting to think about the little piglets. Thank you for being willing to share with us. God bless you all.
So sorry for your farms loss. Large animals are so touchy. It's always very sad when you lose one. We live our lives with nerves on edge always hoping for the best but fearing the worst.
So sorry for your loss, it's gut wrenching even when we know these things will happen at some point w any living thing. Your videos are teaching me so much of the hard truths that many don't show people & I believe they foster a 'fantasy' type view of the daily hard work & difficulties that lead unprepared people to enter a life they aren't able to handle. They invest everything or a very sizable amt of money that is lost when they encounter these difficulties they aren't able to handle. I hope your day improves & ends on a more positive note.
Sending prayers and hugs. Loss of anything is never easy. You had your work cut out for you today. Nice fix on the fence. I look forward to seeing the new piglets. I remember your last batch. They are so cute!
I am truly sorry about your loss. It's very hard to lose an animal, but in this case it was also to be harvested. I know that I have loved every animal I have had no matter how great or small. I will keep you and your family in my prayers that no more animals succumb to whatever happened to your cow.
🇦🇺With the pig fence, can you dig a ditch on the outside of the fence and make a concrete barrier 3-4 inches down and place rock into it or 1/2 to one foot of pig panels, rebar (metal rods), T posts etc. A more permanent solution.
So sorry for the loss. One of the unfortunate things of farm life. Sometimes no matter what you do....things like this happen but doesn't mean we have to like it or be happy about it. Grew up on a farm so can relate.
My condolences for your loss. I know its hard on you economically. I understand your priority in resecuring the fence line where the hogs nosed it up. How you vlog and work it with the winds is amazing. I knew you were fighting the winds. But, it wasn’t for the most part that I couldn’t understand you😀👍🏾.
Sorry about the loss. Sometimes a bull will kill a steer. Had one steer with 3 balls and the bull would go after the steer. I saw the castration so know it work. Had to seperate the bull and steer almost killed the steer calf. Once steer grew up processed it. Found the other ball so figured out later why bull kept attacking him.
I'm sorry for the loss of life. To hear you say that you hate it because it was future meat is what makes me cry. I am sorry for your lack of compassion for him and concern for those who receive your message.
