Hi Chris - I found this very useful , thanks mate. And I laughed a good deal too . Job now done . Bike has done 39k miles without a previous fork seal replacement .
You are far too hard on yourself !

Ah, that's great she's back on the road mate. Haha no problem. The whole point of the videos is to watch me fumble around as I learn. Sorry it took a few days to reply. I'm deployed at the minute. If you have Twitter, have a look at what RFA Argus has been up to. I'm flight deck crew on her. Take care. Stay safe.

Haha. Thanks bud. I actually just had them off again this week. All went a bit better this time. 5 years the seals lasted so not all bad 👍

@@hedley326 I'm going at mine today so was looking for some vids, I had an awful job separating one leg, 3 hours, I think somebody glued the seal into the well, either that or I'm a fuckin knob 🤣

@@STIPOWER97 mate, I was yanking away on mine (the fork that is) for about ten minutes before I realised the metal clip was still in.
I found that if you get a small flat head and prise the oil seal away from its seating first, it tends to come away with a few pulls.
I used a piece of soft wood to repeatedly bang the stansion back in and kept pulling it apart again. Mind the metal spacer ring as it goes bloody flying 🤣
