How fun! I live about a hundred miles from Garnet. At least 30 years ago my husband and I stayed at the motel on I-90 where the turn off to Garnet begins. We intended to drive up to see the ghost town but the road that spring was so bad that we ended up turning around. Thank you for showing me what we missed. My husband passed away 02/24/2020 just before lockdown so I was alone for the next 18 months. After being together for 45 years that was a shock but your vlog has brought back some very happy memories. Thank you!
I am so sorry to hear about your husband, I can’t even imagine. I am glad that I could bring back happy memories for you. If you ever get the chance to get out there you should definitely do it.
Cool! My husband and I hope to do some toad tripping through Idaho and Montana, and as I ran across a story about Garnet I found your channel. I enjoyed your video of the town, and look forward to watching the other videos from your trip.
Oh it really is. If I lived that close, I'm afraid I would find myself there more than the average person and the rangers and I would be best friends. I hope to visit more of these amazing places in the future. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you for the beautiful tour of this look at the past. I love to travel too...so much to see off the beaten paths. I feel like I would love to live in an area like that...just to enjoy a different lifestyle. DID you have cell service while you were there?
Traveling and seeing what this world has to offer is definitely in my blood and to be a fly on those walls back in the day, can you imagine? Where do you like to travel? Road trips? Camping? As for cell service I can’t remember 100% but I want to say there was no cell service up there.

Shorter doorways means less open space to cover to block the incoming cold.

Thank you so very much! At first I was like "what is toad tripping" but I get it lol. I hope that you have a fantastic time on your "toad trip" 🥰
@@graydogadventures Oh whoops!! Yes, I definitely meant road trip. 😂😂
Very cool place. Thanks for the tour.
Thank you, Dennis for watching. It really is quite a cool place to see.

I live about 20 miles from Garnet. Been there a few times. It's really beautiful there.

Awesome video.. I like the way you sat on the dirt road at the end taking in all the beauty... I love visiting places like that.
Thank you! When I rounded the corner and saw all those butterflies, I had to stop.
@@graydogadventures Far out.

Wow. My sensitive to spirits butt would be exhausted from all the interaction I know would come to me from ghosts there.
It really is a great place. I wish at times when I visit these places that I could have hours alone there!
🤗🙂👍
